Can't go wrong with Columbia
So bottom line is it's Columbia and they are always reliable. This was not used as the sizing was incorrect for the Chistmas present, but the recipient liked it overall. The waterproof outer layer is great and the inside linings a great layer to choose for an array of weather. The outside layer is thin and not built for winter sports so it can make a great summer rain jacket. While the 2 won't get you through sub zero Temps, the combo should get you through most of the winter just fine.Why 4 starsFor the full price cost, I feel like the outer layer could so with some extra features. A few more pockets would be nice especially. Having a few jackets of thos brand, I'm used to pocket options and even some I forget are there. This one just has the 2 hand pockets. Just a little underwhelming compared to what I consider this companies typical status quo.
