Bought for a birthday gift and he loved it!! It is small and thin though. I was expecting that and ok with it but thought I’d pass it on

I don't know if this will be news to you, but there are people who go on the internet and just watch videos of cute animals. Among them, are videos of capybaras. My daughter is one of those people. So when I saw that these blankets were available, it wasn't a question of "if", if was a question of "which one?" There are 3 varieties, and I chose the one with the various kinds of capybara poses, because I wasn't sure if she'd like the capybara/crocodile (or is it alligator?) variety, since I didn't know that was a thing, or the one with the HUGE capybara on it. Anyway, I went with this one, and since she's such a big fan, I know she will love it. I'm mailing it out to her on her AF base tomorrow. She's deploying in a few months, and I suspect that this will be one of the few items she will allow herself to take that's frivolous, but it's not really, because the fleecy nature of it will keep her warm, no matter where she's sent. No, it's not a huge blanket and wouldn't cover a king or queen-sized bed. But it is a little snuggle blanket that a kid (boy or girl) or a teen or young adult would love, if they love these crazy animals. Just a nice "anytime" gift to show a loved one you care, and that you get them (and their crazy passions!) A+ can't wait to hear her reaction!

My nephew loves this blanket when he visits, but it is so thin/small. The design is awesome.

I was constantly on instagram and watched endless videos of capybaras, so when I saw this on amazon, I just had to get it! I Love how soft and well designed this blanket is. It's lightweight and perfect blanket to bring on travels and trips. Easy instructions to wash and care for it. Worth the price!

This blanket is very cute - my daughter has a thing for capybaras. But it is not very warm or thick like many throws are. It's a single layer cloth with the pattern on one side and a 1/2 inch folded stitched seam around the edge. If you consider a typical store bought throw that's two layers with some quilted poly fill between the layers, this is like one layer of that. It's also smaller than expected, but it is true to the dimensions stated. The blanket itself based on material alone is 3 stars. However, it gets another star for the pattern. It really is adorable. I consider it more decorative than functional, but it still serves a purpose.

This is the forth blanket I’ve bought from this brand and I cannot not say how happy I am with these blankets. They are packaged very securely, super soft, and come in sizes big enough for kids/teens to use and adults to use. I just have to stop making the mistake of buying the ones smaller than an adult needs so I can fully enjoy them!I was not expecting these capybara’s to have a little frog sitting on one of them which made this experience even better! I am so happy to be an owner of these blankets and will be buying again when I see a design that I like in the size big enough :)

This is not a super heavy winter blanket. It is more like a blanket that would be used to swaddle a baby or in a baby crib. It is cute and soft, and the cartoon capybaras and alligators on the blanket are so stinking cute. 4 stars.

$100 for a 90x100 or $30 for a 40x50 for a flannel blanket is just too much. The capybara art is indeed really cute, but way overpriced.Can definitely be a nice gift if this is exactly the art that you want.
