Easy Fix - P0440 Code
My daughter's 2016 Sonata would make a "thump thump" suction noise every few minutes when I would open the hood to check oil, etc. The code P0440 was saying EVAP leak somewhere, but since we don't have emission testing out here, I wasn't too worried about it. I was more concerned about the noise than the code, so one day I investigated more deeply. After removing air intake system I heard the sound more clearly. Looking around, I happened to pull on a hose that looked to be connected underneath the valve (see pic). Because it was a tight fit, the hose would always go back into position, so it wasn't immediately obvious. Got the part, 5 minutes and problem solved, Code reset and no code now for 3 months so far.

Works…until it didn’t.
This was a great part that fixed the problem quickly. Unfortunately it looks like I have to get another exact same part because the car light came back on after a few months.

Exact fit, super easy fix
Bought for my 2013 Hyundai Veloster 1.6 turbo. The EPS and engine light were intermittent while driving and idling, with a slight stutter in the engine. Code P0441 came up on scanner. Problem fixed, runs like a champ

2013 Hyundai Accent GLS
2013 Hyundai Accent GLS, fits & works. My mechanic told me I needed $2,600 catalytic converters replaced on my vehicle. I purchased this device and the FOXWELL NT301 OBD2 Scanner, which told me exactly what was causing the "Check Engine Light," and corrected the issue myself. This part cost $28, delivered the next day, and my local Parts store wanted $56.The scanner cost $57, delivered, my total out of pocket $85, and I didn't even leave the house!

Good price if it worked.
Problem is there’s epoxy that seals the connectors pins inside the connector. The epoxy is on the pins and causes a loss of contact. If you take the time to meticulously scrape off the coating it will work but you’d think the manufacturer would figure that out.

Saved so much time and money
This piece that was going to cost me 288 dollars to replace at the dealership saved me so much money. It was super easy to install and once I went to auto zone to have the code cleared it has not returned. So happy to have found this !

Doesn't last.
Looks and fits just like the OEM part it replaced. The engine light went off on its own after installation. I didn't clear the code myself. Car ran better for roughly a month then the engine light came back on with the same codes and all the previous symptoms returned. Part had failed. Not even close to an acceptable lifespan.
