The grips have a good feel and are solid, but the buttons on top the “SL” and “SR” buttons don’t work well for driving games that use those as accelerator buttons.The buttons are flat and tend to stick when they are pressed. This makes them hard to control and the flatness makes them uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time. By contrast the black version we have has contoured buttons and the spring in them is much more responsive.I can’t seem to find any red and blue ones that are a different design so I will keep these. I may open one up to see if I can fix the button spring at least.

I think they need a little smaller handles. Or a redesign since the controllers buttons are both in different spots on the paddles. I get cramps in my hands when using the red one. Probably from the paddle button placements but maybe if that one had smaller grip handles maybe it would be a little better?

These joy con grips are fantastic. They are lightweight, yet sturdy. They hold the controllers securely. The colors match the joy cons perfectly. They feel great and give a much more comfortable way to play games that require using the joy cons separately for multiplayer games. Highly reccomend.

I like how these make it feel like you’re holding a real controller, which is what the 2 stars are for, but it made the top buttons super unresponsive. I played Mario kart with it, and it made it completely unpredictable as to whether or not it would let me drift, which is super important. Maybe with a game that doesn’t really use the top buttons, these would be good.

Solid material, feels great in hand but hard to get joy-cons in and out of controller so not good for quick changing on the go

I wanted this for my adult sized hands. It’s still pretty tiny, bit at least I can hold the controller better.

The grip is good and all, but it does something weird with my joy con. It’ll make the side menu come out without pressing anything and won’t let me exit it. Not sure if it’s the grips fault of my joycon

I purchased these for my son and myself as I am usually the one playing with him. It makes game playing so much more comfortable. The original controllers snap right into place with no fuss.

I got these because playing with the joy con alone is horrible for extended period of time... I also got (from the same brand tnp) another set of grip for blue and red joy con and I must say the yellow one are much better, the fit is perfect, the joy-con slide inside very well, the toggle works great, it's a much better design and product than the other one I bought

I returned. They did not push the top buttons. Waste of money. There are better products out there.Seems like a pretty easy fix for the design flaw but for some reason they have not.
