Life saver for body acne, good for face too
Perobar 5% soap is a Godsend for acne prone skin. My dermat had prescribed the Perobar 2.5% soap and a benzoyl peroxide 4% facewash that got discontinued. So i use this for my body acne and my face too whenever i have active acne. Benzoyl peroxide is the golden treatment for acne, it works better than salicylic acid, since salicylic acid only targets sebum production, and benzoyl peroxide will actively treat the acne itself. I couldn't find the 2.5% one, so i ordered this. 5% is a good enough concentration, and the Perobar one has a good formulation. It doesn't feel too drying on the skin, and it also has emollient ingredients in it. The only con is the packaging, which wasn't surprising..Amazon has the worst kind of packaging..it feels like my order got a whole lot of abuse on the way.. the product never comes in any kind of seal..but the soap has it's own inner sealed packet, so at least i know it's been untouched. Recommended for moderate acne, if your dermat recommended benzoyl peroxide and nothing else is working.. noobs can start with the 2.5% one.

Bye bye acne
Great for bacne and underarm odour. It kills the bacteria. Can be a bit drying if you have dry skin . It doesn't stain clothes.

It works!
Now that it's almost two months of using this soap, I think I am fairly qualified to write this review. I was facing body acne for quite some time and needed something which could lessen this problem. Using this soap definitely helped me lessen it. It didn't work for one month but with regular use I can see the result and the acne is definitely less.
