These pencils are great fun for doodling and mind maps. Even the slightest shift in the way you hold the pencil changes the colour that appears. All the pencils are the same - not different combinations of colours - but each time you sharpen them they are a little different. These are not the cheapest rainbow pencils but they actually work rather than the much cheaper ones that constantly snap. I would definitely recommend these.
