I bought this unit to use as a phone mount on my bike. I found that it attaches quite securely to my bike stem. During my ride but it holds my phone very securely. The phone also does not slip to either side of the stem. I bought a Bone Bike Tie Pro 3. I found it to be a very good fit for my OnePlus 7 Pro (in its case). The straps are neither too loose nor too tight for my phone. It is easy to insert the phone but not so loose that you have to worry about the phone falling out. For reference, my phone has a 6.75 inch display. It also measures 3 inches wide and 6.5 inches long in its case that I purchased from OnePlus. I would highly recommend this bike mount.

I can't speak for bike use, as I wanted a phone mount for on our treadmill so I can lazily walk and watch Netflix at the same time, but I didn't want anything fancy or expensive. This model of this bike mount (didn't want the one for handlebars as I figured it wouldn't fit the bar) works great on the horizontal treadmill bar and holds my phone securely, even when I go for a run. It joggles a bit in the rubber but it has never fallen out or had any issues and I've been using it for months now. Highly recommend!
