After watching several posts on social media illustrating how easy it is to break into hotel rooms, I purchased this before a trip where my friend and I stayed in an Air Bnb. The device is small and easy to use and it’s easy to see how it could actually prevent someone from breaking in. But really the peace of mind it provided was priceless. I’d recommend this item to anyone, especially women traveling alone.

This was not so easy for me to use. I think it needs to be longer as it was hard for me to hold it flat and close the door without catching my hand in it. Once I got it in place I had to push the door to close all the way as it was a tad too thick. After it was in place firmly I definitely felt safe. It was secure and gave me the confidence that no one would be able to open the door.

I was able to use this on a hotel connecting door to the room next door, and it gave me piece of mind in that situation. Easy to use. Does not fit on the main door of a hotel room. It would work on any kind of traditional door latch or lock find in a house.

If your a single mom and u stay at resorts a lot just get it! Works awesome! Keeps everyone out including staff and house keeping when they think it’s ok just to come in anytime they want!

Purchased for a solo trip. I had to practice setting it up at home, but it worked all both my hotel room doors. Great for peace of mind. Feels high quality compared to plastic versions

Doubles as a toddler proof door safety device

I travel a great deal. I specially bought this to keep in my suitcase for the hotel room. My first trip, the biggest side doesn’t work with a standard hotel door as advertised. It is a nice safety lock to use for home locks because it’s all metal, but again, not for hotels.
