GENUINE Electrolux 5300622032 Dryer Heating Element

This was a direct fit for my Kenmore dryer made by Whirlpool. Very easy to replace. If your element has went out (broken usually) and the ceramic holders are all in tact, this is you best way to fix it inexpensively. Very economical. Think about replacing the rear bearing while you are in there. They may already be squeeking on you and only takes another 10 minutes to do.

If you are a do-it-yourself kind of person this is the way to go when your element stops working! Watch a You Tube video and do the simple tear down , an hour later my dryer works great again! Compare to buying a complete assembly and you'll see 😉

Item arrived quickly and in great condition. Instructions were clear, and installation was easy. I saved a lot of money buying this and installing it myself. I'll update my review if the element goes bad prematurely, but I doubt it will.

I have had it on for months work good for me. Just don't stretch the coils too much, it fits perfectly

This is an easy product to install, with reasonably good instructions. If you have disassembled your dryer to the point where you can pull the old one out, the new one will give you no trouble and save you an expensive repairman bill.(Just make sure you put everything back together correctly - I had to get a second one when the shield detached, and the clearance on the drum was small enough that it tore up the coil.)

Fixed the dryer for my mom. Easy to install. Wear gloves to install. Apparently oils from your hands can make it short out.

Broke on first use.

Well we laced the coils in correctly, but on burned out immediately. Maybe it was a faulty coil. Package arrived OPEN, but everything was there. Unfotunate as it is now winter and I can no longer utilize the clothesline. Wanted to love this item.
