Worth ever penny! I can't tell you what a game changer these are for watercolor painting! The real hair vs synthetic is so much easier and smoother. I was struggling learning watercolor. Normally the tools don't change my art dramatically BUT, these brushes are incredible! And with the variety of sizes i can do so much! This is the second set I've bought from this brand. The travel brushes are amazing too! I suggest getting both! I do not recommend these for acrylic paint unless you and gentle and very good at cleaning/ remembering to clean your brushes.

The brushes hold a lot of water and pigment. Amazing results.

I was looking for an affordable set of sable watercolor brushes for travel use. I saw these and the very reasonable price and bought them with the hope that it was not misrepresented. They are a secondary sable (not kolinsky), have good spring and water holding for their size, and perform in small images very well. They are easy to use, clean easily, and I am liking them. (Can't say much about their longevity.) For painters who want a wet flowing background, these are too small, and a wash brush or hake must be added but these meet my goal.

I bought you as a gift for my artist daughter. She asked for them on her wish list. The quality was better than expected. She is super excited to have them. After looking at them, I was tempted to get a set for myself even though I don’t do watercolors. Lol.

The brush set is great for watercolor, the price was also great. And there was room in the container for more brushes, pencil etc. so I'm storing all of my watercolor items in it.

I am self-taught and have been painting watercolors for years. I just purchased my first paint brush set and I love using them. I still don't know what I'm doing with the water flow, but these brushes are amazing! They hold water well and the tips are perfect for fine detail. I am so glad I got these brushes. I love them and will continue educating myself and practicing.

My 19 yo granddaughter is just starting watercolor painting....I have been for some time though not as good as her.....she just messaged me...."Are watercolor brushes supposed to shed their bristles?"No, they are not. I had not purchased this brand before and don't know if it is a fluke, but I rely on reviews and answer folks' questions—an important part of shopping online. This is my first real disappointment.

Just rec'd them and they look great. Come in a tube..and each brush and tip it well protected.. Have not used them yet but I feel sure they will be an asset to my work. Thank you.
