The mount does hold while the car is parked but with a minimum amount of road vibration my phone ends up on the floor of my vehicle that's to say nothing if i go over a speedbump in a parking lot.

I love this phone mount for the dash. My only issue is that if you have a large phone and a heavy duty Otterbox, the weight pulls it down. This is the reason I give only 4 out of 5 stars.

This is supposed to be used inside your car. I put my phone on it and the hold was so weak my phone slid off. I can't return it because it is stuck to my dashboard. What a pain!

The slightest bump or shift will send your phone flying off the mount and onto the seat, floor, or a black hole in your car that you have to search later. This product is not secure for your phone while the car is in motion.
