Just took the item out of the package and two nails easily came out of the board upon inspection, see the pic.

This geoboard is super cute and despite being "educational," I think it's also just a really cute thing overall. There's tons of functions of this geoboard in terms of just being a nice creative outlet - you're given a good count of bands (I didn't count them, unfortunately, but you have more than enough of each color) and can do tons of things with them. The person I gave this to first made a butterfly and then did a more complicated crab, adding texture in and so on.The wooden pinboard is well-made and sturdy, with none of the pins bending or anything during the experience. With the added reference cards, you also don't need to be "creative" - you can just take inspiration and go from there.Overall, I highly recommend this geoboard. It's just a genuinely cute gift with absolute no quality qualms. If you have issues with bands too, it shouldn't be too difficult to replace those bands with any rubber bands that you can buy online or have sitting around. Great product!

We've been quite happy with this wooden Geoboard from Tookyland. The board itself is well made with an all wood design. This includes plenty of differently coloured rubber bands as well as accompanying pattern cards that kids can easily follow. You can easily build out a wide variety of patterns by following the included instruction cards. My nephew's had a lot of fun putting together different patterns on this board. This really goes the extra mile with color coded rubber bands that go a long way to making the patterns and shapes pop, helping to bring them to life. Overall for the money this is an awesome toy for the kiddos!
