more like THE rejects
Holy smokes is this a read for sure. With mixed reviews on what I have read did not give this story justice. With a paranormal twist with the added characters who come from different lines of mental health back grounds, you get more than you bargained for. With any story that mentions institutions and mental health itโs not gonna be pretty, happy and Romantic, what you donโt realise until you read this book is not everything is as it seems. And let me just tell you not only is this series written incredibly well but the plot is something else, something unique and one of a kind and Iโm here for it.I love giving a review and want to tell everybody how amazing a story is.Have to hold back on so much as you well I do anyway want to tell you the story which then would leave you havenโt no point in reading it so I hold back as much as I can.All I can say is if your looking for something different, not afraid of some trauma, mental health, the boogey man, creatures that definitely ainโt pretty, some sensitive scenes and a few very interesting characters then go crazy and dive in. There so much packed in book 1. And considering the warnings you receive from the author before starting this series itโs not as dark as Iโd expect with this kinda read but that again could just be down to me. Also might make it easy on some readers who can handle a little dark ๐Itโs a must read from me.

Triggers
Why was full on rape not listed as a trigger? What's even more concerning is that the heroine appears to suffer minimum discomfort and it's all fluffed over despite her body having noticeable trauma. I'm aware that this is a mental institution but they all seemed to function well enough to process consent.I'm just flabbergasted this book got 5 star ratings.

Proper page Turner!
My god this book. I thought i was only 60% in and then it ended way too quickly ๐ญ you can't end a cliffhanger like that!!!!This book was like a mix of darkmore penitentiary and cute but psycho which I absolutely adored!!! Insane asylum/prisoners is such a perfect combination!I love how all the characters interact with each other and they all just accept each others mental health issues plus a side of demons and paranormal!Definitely check this book out its a page Turner ๐

I wasn't sure what to expect
And now I want more.Though I am not sure what to make of the mental health issues... They are all a little too coherent and well functioning, but I suppose it wouldn't benefit the story if all of the characters couldn't function properly.Great story well written, goosebumps und thrill.

Reject
This was an interesting RH. The beginning grabbed my attention. I liked the premise it was different in a good way. It was intriguing. Then it settled into institute we got to know more characters and some of whats going on in that kind of setting.ย The book was really short and it was felt like part of a story or novella. So it didnt feel like a complete entry into the series. More like a novella entry to get you started at under 250 e book pages. I do think that it needed more time and pages to tell this first book in the series. I liked the plot of this story and the next one is on perorder for ealry December.

An interesting new paranormal series!
I fell quickly into this dark romance that has been jam packed full of twists and turns that will keep you on your toes. I love how despite the trauma Harlow (our FMC) and her guys have lived through they have found each other and will ultimately use that found family aspect to heal. There is a good amount of tension, a bit of steam, and still quite a bit of mystery to figure out. Reject did well in laying the foundation for this series while also ensuring I was completely invested in what was to come!

Wow
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this book. It was sitting in my library for awhile before I started came finished it in a day. Harlow is a very likeable character who has been through hell and sees things that don't exist and after a run in with the cops, is sent to a mental institution where she meets a group of people who are like her. A whole bunch of stuff happens here and truths are revealed, but its a great ride and I can't wait for the next book.
