These rug grippers are great with one problem sticking them to a rug which has a fabric backing which my rug is cotton backed which when taking them away from the rug as of to wash the rug has pulled away the thread from the back of them which also cleaning them with the fabric on it is really hard to do and will take some doing with some warm soapy water but they are sticky again after they are dry which after i have cleaned them I might just put them back on the rug and then to leave them on there hopefully forever and to maybe super glue them on as of hopefully to keep them on forever too and to wash my small rugs with them stuck to it which if the underneath side of your rug has fabric on it you may have to consider not using them at all and to consider using less stick ones or non at all which the description of them does say "Note: Not suitable for carpet backs with too much cotton wool" so take a chance if you want too but if your rug is an expensive one and you don't want to ruin it then don't use them as they will ruin the under side of it but if you clean your rug yourself with a wet and dry carpet and rug cleaning machine or have or dry cleaned them use them for yourself as they are great but please remember on everytime you lift the rug up is to get some kind of say a knife or a clean wallpaper scraper as of to very carefully to make it to go underneath the grippers and to do it carefully as of not to damage the floor or grippers too and once some of it has come away from the floor then you can put it away and then to wipe them clean and they to relay the ruf as they do really stick to floor surfaces which at all and all apart from them in on damaging my rug they are fantastic at gripping smooth surface floors so four stars from me.

The instructions for use were easy to follow and they were easy to apply to the back of each door mat.The mats both still moved even with 8 strips, the mats are typical for an entrance porch - one course texture on entry and then a larger mat.These are the second attempt product to secure my Mothers door mat to prevent a trip hazard, neither have worked.

After approximately 2 weeks of using whole rug started to move, they constantly unstick which would cause us some accident few times, they are also definitely not reusable so dont waste your money and search for something else. If i could i would give 0 stars.

Bought these to stop new hallway rug from the possibility of tripping me up... they didn't even stick to the rug!! They fell off straight away before I got a chance to put it on the floor. Waste of time and money.
