Our tds water tester is incredibly easy to use, it only requires 4 simple steps!
First, you insert the TDS water tester into the water being tested.
Second, press the ON/OFF button and wait for 1 second.
Third, press the HOLD button and take it out.
Fourth, read the numbers on the display
That's it! Really so easy to use! We hope you will like it!

💖Tips: After each use, rinse in clean water or distilled water.  Then let the probes air-dry.  This method can prolong the tds meter lifespan and also achieve more precise testing results.

This TDS meter digital water tester is pre-calibrated in factory, no need calibrate again by customer, we do this to prevent as many calibration related mistakes as possible, and it's easier to use.

Tips: To maintain the accuracy, it's better to rinse in clean water or distilled water, then let the probes air-dry, after each use.

For your mentioned distilled water, it should read 0 ppm theoretically, but in actual application, if you can't keep test condition very clean, it may read 0-2ppm usually

What kind of water filters can be tested with a tds water tester for drinking water?

The ONLY drinking water filters that have an affect on TDS are reverse osmosis (RO), distillation, or deionization. The Zero water filter is a deionizing water filter. No other type of filter will significantly reduce TDS. However, you can measure TDS on any drinking water water source to get an idea of the TDS level.
