When my old lighter stopped working, I was looking for a nice one to replace it and this item caught my eye!I was a bit hesitant to purchase when I first saw it because you have to lift the cap and then light the flame and then put your finger on the lid to lower the cap-- I was worried I might possibly burn myself when using the lighter but since owning this for a while, I haven't had any issues. When the cap starts to lower, it cuts the gas so the flame goes out. You don't need to worry about burning your finger etc.I am really loving this lighter. It was pretty simple to fill up with butane and adjust the size that I wanted the flame to be. I have been enjoying using it for lighting incense, candles, and I have even taken it with me camping!I believe that this would make a nice gift for friends and family and would recommend it.

It's cute. I like it. Not super practical. Have butane in hand. Maybe being a torch just means faster fuel usage? The lighter has a fairly small tank. It is a nice little gift. Looks classier than using a disposable.

This is an interesting lighter. Using a "Zippo" like flint to ignite a torch is different, for sure. But it's kinda fun.One thing to be aware of is that the butane is released when the cap is flipped up and will continue to come out until the cap is put back down. The lever itself controls the butane release so the flame is extinguished immediately, as opposed to the cap putting it out.The flint was easy to use and it never took more than one try to light the torch. It does look like you have to disassemble the lighter to change the flint, though.I did have some trouble with the flame height being difficult to adjust, but I'm sure that is an anomaly.The lighter came in a nicely designed box. One side of the lighter has a leaf design that feels carved into it. It's got a good weight to it, too.All-in-all, a nice looking, fun, functional lighter.

I saw this lighter on Amazon a few days ago and thought it looked cool so I bought one and also another lighter. These are terrible lighters. Neither of them have been able to light. I put a little bit of fuel in it and when I opened the cap of the lighter, all of the fluid leaked out of the top. I will never buy from this company again and advise others to do the same.

This is the best lighter I've ever used. The hatch does limit where you can use it, but for anywhere it fits this is great. The best feature is definitely the lid though. Having the torch stay lit as long as its open would be great for a one handed user as you can set it down and still have the torch going. There are other standing or table torches that can do this but none as portable or inexpensive as this. It also looks pretty nice and is all metal so it won't overheat as easily as the all plastic torches do. I needed it to run for 30 seconds at a time and other torches start failing after using them a dozen times for that long.

It’s a little smaller than I expected but beautiful! I bought it for a friend so I am not sure if it works well just yet. Will update once he attempts to use it!

Great little lighter. I love the fact that it stays lit and you don't have to hold the button. Good quality and you can replace the flint really easy. Holds a good amount of butane so it lasts for a good long time.
