Size is good if you want to bring your cards, money, keys, sanitizer/alcohol, pocket tissue, a pen maybe, reusable ecobag, a few cosmetics and the like. I would have wanted it to have built-in card slots. Material is thick and smooth and well-made.My main concern, though, is the back zipper where it’s hard to open because the strap blocks it when it’s worn crossbody. Refer to my pics - you’d have to go over the strap to reach the back zipper.Moreover, I believe the zippers on older Vera Bradley bags (sample in the last pic) look better and are functionally easier to use because the metal zipper is longer thus easier to pull. The older zippers are also decorated with Vera Bradley labels unlike the new ones.Fortunately, the middle compartment with magnetic closure gives quick accessibility to phone and anything else you’d like to place there.

I love everything about this. 2 zipper compartments, one open compartment to easily slip my phone into. It's well made and has an adjustable shoulder strap.

This style is one of my Vera Bradley favorites. It's the perfect size, with lots of roomy compartments to keep the contents organized, without lugging around a huge purse. I own more than one of this style, in a plethora of colors. They are my "go to" bag, for being not too big and not too small. The lilac purple is the perfect addition to my collection.
