Absolutely brilliant! Our pond was like pea soup and this filter cleared in within days. Wish we’d got one ages ago!

Hmmm - early days with this filter, but so far I have been less than impressed. I bought an oversized version for our pond, as it was quite dirty with a lot of suspended silt and small solids due to the previous filter failing. Fitted this new filter and 2 weeks later the pond is exactly the same! I cleaned the old filter (a Fishmate) and tried running it and it seemd to filter the water reasonably well, but I knew it would fail again so persisted with the All Pond filter. Another week, water no clearer, so I backwashed the filter, and on turning the valves back to the pond noticed great clouds of the filtered matter being blown back in to the pond! I decided to dismantle the unit, and found huge quantities of filtered sludge clogging the sponges, especially the lowest one. OK, I thought, that's what it's supposed to do. However, I decided to have a look at the paddle mechanism, and it refused to turn the lowest filter, which had clearly not been paddled clean at all! THIS IS A MAJOR DESIGN FAULT - once the sponges get heavy with water and filtered matter, the weight of them presses down onto the lowest element, and stops it turning when backwashing with the paddles, because the resistance of the sponge pressing onto the bottom of the filter apparatus is too much for the paddling mechanism. I bodged up a thin plastic disc to insert between the lowest sponge and the clip on plastic spindle arrangement, in order to support the weight of the sponge. Refitted everything, and I could instantly feel the lower resistance on turning the paddle handle. I am now waiting to see if the pond clears after spending 2 hours cleaning, modifying and refitting this filter. Not very impressed at all, especially since the paddling mechanism only cleans the outer 1-2" of filter sponge. I might go back (a new) Fishmate...

Have used standard filters for years and the price stopped me upgrading but really glad I bit the bullet in the end. This thing keeps the pond really clear and dead easy to clean filters. Only down side is the filter spinner handle is push fit and comes of as you are cleaning the drum so could be better attached Otherwise best filter on market in my opinion

I've been pleased with this. I've changed my setup so it hard to compare it with my old filter, but the old one needs cleaning every week and that is a nasty job, and this one it has only required turning the handle thus far. All Pond have been good in supporting me, I broke a part and got the replacement quickly and cheaply.

Happy with product at first. However self cleaning handle split within 5 months and I had to pay £14.99 for replacement as only certain electrical parts are covered by the guarantee. NOT ACCEPTABLE so make sure you read the warranty before purchasing. I will not be purchasing any more of their products.
