I was lucky enough to have a family of mice move into my car during winter storage and was able to thoroughly clean all remains of their presence from the interior with a bit of elbow grease, carpet cleaner, and a vacuum MINUS the smell coming from the HVAC ducts. It was HORRIBLE. Smelled like a port-a-potty inside my cherished Honda. After looking at several options and reading reviews, I got 2 Armor All Car Air Freshener and Cleaner cans. It's been 1 week since I did the first treatment to the outside intake, the cabin filter compartment and the vents. I used the entire can on a sub compact. The stuff just plain works. The smell is very overpowering at first, but that's to be expected given the job it has to perform. It simply has erased the smell left by the mice. Inside still smells a bit like the product, but a million times preferable to what it was treating. I'm holding on to the other can, but I'm not sure I'll need it unless it happens again (heaven forbid this please). Thank you Armor All for this fantastic product.

Have tried many products and this one looks like a real winner. Long story short, we purchased a used/new to us vehicle a few years ago. When we bought this low mileage vehicle it still had that new car smell. Or so we thought. A few weeks later the new car smell wore off and we could smell cigar smoke. Specially when the heat was on, or if the car had been sitting in the sun any time of year, worse in summer. The factory dealer detailed the vehicle multiple times free of charge. But the "stink" lingered. They threw up their hands and we worked out a deal that made us mostly happy... and we bought a 12 pack of new car spray to mask the cigar smoke as needed (daily). Its been 4 years of various air fresheners and bombs and sprays. We even changed the seat upholstery to no avail. The dealer made a sweet heart deal with their upholster. It helped, but the stink lingered. Nothing was working for more than a day or two..... Last week I used this product in conjunction with an Ozone Generator. Ran the Ozone Gen first, then followed up with this this duct cleaner. Had used the Ozone Gen before, but the cigar smell returned in a few days. Have purposely left the vehicle sitting in the sun to cook the car the last 3 days. No cigar smell! None. Not even a hint when getting in and its an oven inside. Fingers crossed we have finally won this ongoing battle. If not... the 3 pack gives 2 more attempts.....

Have you ever had a cat "spray" inside your vehicle? I hope you never do, trust me, it happened to us! After cleaning and scrubbing that smell (absolutely diagusting) wouldn't go away. Also, we don't own a cat! Somehow it got in while bringing things in the house. Anyhow, this amazing little can of awesomeness is literally THE ONLY thing that worked. And we tried EVERYTHING!!! pinterest has no recipe that can compare to the power of this can. We ordered 3 more. Once we've detailed the car, set this magical can in there for 15 minutes and instant new car smell. It's so delightful and I would have paid endless dollars to have known this would be the best and most simple purchase to get such fowl smells out of your vehicle. Easy, quick, and cheap!!!!

I have a 3 year old Chevy Bolt. It has a very musty smell coming from the vents, only when the air conditioning is on. Changing the cabin air filter didn't help anything. The air intake is underneath the wiper cowling, and requires taking off the entire piece. There's about 10 different plastic pushpins that have to be released, and then it can be picked up and out of the way to access the intake area. I sprayed about half of the can in there as directed with the AC on full blast. Then I shut off the AC, sprayed the can in to each vent, let it sit for about a minute, and then turned the AC on full blast for 10 minutes. For a couple of days, there was a chemically/fake cleaning product smell. Sort of like a hotel room, if that makes sense. That slowly faded away, and now there's no smell at all. The mustiness is gone.

Great and fragrant

I just used this, so I don't know how long it will last, but with summer approaching I don't think there will be a condensation problem soon. As with another review here, I had to us a magnifying glass to read the instructions. I'm not much of a do it yourselfer, but this was simple enough. The funny thing was it said to spray half the can into the front vents under the windshield. Well, how can you tell if you've use 1/2 of the can without being able to see? I guess I came close enough. I suspect this, along with changing the cabin filter, should take care of the poopy moldy smell that had developed in my air system.
