What a good find
I've been using this for the last few weeks. This has been one solid little setup. This is the natural progression from moving from the toy wand to a proper soldering station. I don't know what makes a good soldering station, but this must be it. Getting additional heads is pretty simple as it seems to use standard sizes. I love how quickly it heats up and the 10-minute sleep. I found the cord to be flexible enough and long enough. I did put a drop of white paint on the dial where the arrow is so I could see it better.

An excellent temperature-regulated soldering kit that is also affordable.
As a long-time audio enthusiast and general tinkerer, I've been soldering wires off and on, mostly on, for most of my life. All this time I did without a temperature-regulated soldering iron. And all of this time I have burned through a good many cheap soldering irons that plug directly into the wall outlet. Never again. I decided to give one of these temp-regulated irons a try because of the number of irons that never worked very well because they didn't get hot enough, and that died early deaths. It was well past the time that I should have tried something different. So I decided to try one of this irons that don't plug directly into the wall outlet. The difference, in the ease of soldering, was a night-and-day difference. I had no expectation that this would make soldering so much easier. I was amazed at how much easier it was. The wires heat up perfectly, each and every time, and the solder flows perfectly, each and every time.I chose this particular product, the Bakon 969, partly because I always look for value. This is particular true when I'm uncertain what else I should be looking at. Since I don't have much reason to pick one over another, I tend to pick the one that looks most affordable. So I picked this one partly for that reason, and as far as I'm concerned I scored a home run. No regrets at all. Perfectly pleased, and only wishing that I hadn't waited so long to buy something that I should have bought a long, long time ago.

Heats up quickly
Lots of nice accessories which I really didn't need. I don't really care for all the digital stuff and settings, but it does the job well enough. I should have purchase the less expensive one with an analogue dial for the temperature.

Great Soldering Station
This station is great. Heat up time is ridiculously fast! 0-300 in a matter of seconds. The temperature control is easy and accurate. I may be old school but I prefer the analog dial over the digital controller. Accessories are ok. Only drawback is the base of the iron stand that holds the sponge is made of plastic so careful when putting the hot tip in as there is a possibility of hitting it and melting plastic on the soldering tip. The part that holds the iron is metal, not sure why the whole thing wasn't just made of the same thing but that doesn't effect the function of the station so 5 stars it is. Well worth the money.

EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCE
It is refreshing to order a product that exceeds your expectations. This is one of those. Pleased to say the least with this purchase. Heats up in a flash, the gun is very comfortable and well-balanced, the cord gives you plenty of breathing room, the on/off switch is very convenient, setting your temperature is a breeze, comes with an assortment of different tips, and the station components are great! Tweezers are actually useful and precise, and even the solder sucker performs well. For those just getting into soldering, using the sucker, or sny sucker, takes time to perfect the procedure to make these tools do their job as desired. The window of a pool of solder to be sucked is very finicky and short. Don't get frustrated, just understand it will take practice to be efficient. THIS PRODUCT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

If they're confused about Celsius and Fahrenheit...
First off, I knew I was buying a cheap soldering station. Secondly, they don't know how to keep their Celsius and Fahrenheit straight. It heats up, who knows what the right temperature is, I don't think they even know. (I do have a contact and laser temperature sensor, let's just say it's off by more than 10%.)Upon initial fire up, following industry normal preparation procedures for first-time use of a soldering iron, this thing was a complete and utter disaster. Before even firing it up, I had asked the manufacturer about warranty. Their answer did not make sense in the world of Amazon. Good luck if you ever need to ask for warranty assistance. I solder things maybe twice a year, but with cheap stations like this, I'm going to need to spend a lot more in order to get a reliable operating device. The owner's manual also leaves a lot of things unanswered. Typical for a manual that might not have been written by somebody that knows the product. Plugging the product in should leave many questions for the manual writer to answer.A flashing red light does not get explained in the owner's manual that I have. Usually, a pilot light stays on steady and then flashes when it has reached proper temperature or it flashes until it reaches proper temperature and then go steady. This one, it just stays flashing. If you look at the thermostat, you will see a dual ring temperature gauge. They could have done so much better in getting the Celsius temperatures on the inside ring and the Fahrenheit temperatures on the outside ring and keeping those numbers straight consistently around the dial. Last I checked, Celsius is a lower number than Fahrenheit except on this dial. It's being returned. My initial excitement considering what came in the packaging has been murdered by the horrible execution of this product. If they would have just made something that stood up a little bit to what the promise was, this would have been fully acceptable. It's so bad that it is not acceptable.
