Very versatile
The fact that the whole unit can fit into an Arca Swiss tripod mount as well as being able to attach via a standard screw makes this a very versatile mount for small cameras.

I bought this for a particular use case and it worked really well. I now use a different set-up but keeping this product for future use.

Not Arca compatible
Doesn’t fit any of my other Arca male fittings. Product description is incorrect.

Good, but the locking lever mechanism could be better
Overall I like the compactness and build quality of the quick release. But the lever to "lock" isn't really a lock. It just lifts, held by friction to prevent you from physically pushing in the release mechanism. Mine became loose after a few uses and so not enough friction to hold up in the "lock" position. Fortunately I have the right special star screwdriver head to tighten it back up. But I suspect I'll be doing this regularly.

Will not accept male Arca fittings - limited application
Good points: a) QR fitting concept. b) The supplied male fitting which attaches to the camera fits the supplied female part (which attaches to tripod) - I.E. they’ve been matched manufactured but should only be ok for a camera/lens combination of no more than about 700g.Bad points: a) the description states it’s Arca type compatible, it isn’t! I have several ARCA male fittings (from different makes) and none fit this NEEWER Arca type quick release plate. I measured the parts using a digital calliper and the NEEWER QR plate is 23 thou (0.6mm) too small.b) The spring fittings that hold the matched male & female parts are not sufficient either to secure a mirrorless camera with heavy-ish 400mm lens on a tripod (tilted).

Fits and quality finish. By design mounts are small, so accessing locking mechanism takes a bit of finger agility!
