Purchased this Black & Decker battery fan and the DeWalt battery fan, since I have spare batteries from both brands. My plan was to return the one that was inferior.Purchased this DeWalt battery fan and a Black & Decker battery fan, since I have spare batteries from both brands. My plan was to return the one that was inferior.I was surprised to find both fans are amazingly similar. Both have three speeds and put out about the same amount of "breeze". It was a tough decision and we would have been happy with either one, but ultimately we decided to keep the DeWalt battery fan because it was a tiny bit quieter (barely perceptible), has an on/off switch (which the Black & Decker lacks), and perhaps blows a tiny bit stronger (though that may be my imagination). The fact the DeWalt version is a few bucks cheaper than the Black & Decker version was an added bonus.My wife loves it and uses it mostly on tables to cool off when we're in bars and dancing. She also brings it along to some outdoor concerts.

"Cool " little fan that goes everywhere with me when I'm working .Small but powerful little fan that gets the job done !What's impressive is the battery life you get out of this , with a 2amp fully charged battery I can go just about 2 full shifts or more without having to charge it again.

I was very surprised when I turned it on , this small size fan , packs a nice punch. It fit my batteries perfect . have Porter Cable batteries and bought the Black and Decker Battery fan to try after doing some research that they were both the same size. I have only got to test the fan for 5 hours of run time so far, no problem.Great LIttle Portable Fan !

wife uses this for our sons baseball games and it definitely cools her down.

Love this little work horse. It really blows on low! Cute as a bug to boot. Go get you one of these. It lasted for several hours on my smaller dewalt battery. Charges your phone too...
