Interesting
This is a compact version of the new series Hanna. Obviously it was filmed before the series. It has most of the elements of the series , but in a compact form. The acting however is brilliant. You have Cate Blanchett in an auburn wig, much like Elizabeth , (and its interesting to note that Saoirse Ronan goes on to play the same character,) with a foul American accent, Tom Hollander playing a sinister role, and Eric Bana as the rogue ex CIA agent. Worth a watch. Ive watched both and I must say I like this version just as much as the other. Its not as bloodthirsty as the other one, but its pretty sinister all the same. The minor characters provide some entertainment also. vis a vis the spanish gypsy guy and the skinhead on the motorbike. The series has expanded on the film and has brought in storylines that you couldnt do in a 105 minute film . I certainly didnt get bored watching this version. It was just as action packed as the series. There are some continuity errors but those are minor . Overall I give it four stars.

Repeat Repeat Repeat
This is a bad repeat with nothing new...why make a series into a longer version of the film which we have to watch knowing the ending with minor changes that open up the possibility for a further series, I could not watch past the second episode and so looked at the ending, and switched off. I eagerly await the development of this story in a future series. My advice, watch the Film version first and wait for a second series that develops the new story line made possible by the new, last episode!

Saoirse Ronan makes this a good film
The plot of this film (and the Background story) is hardly explained at all; but once you have got a grasp of it you realise that the story is average and re-used elsewhereHowever the atmosphere of the film is excellent; the acting is compelling and I did not realise how sparse the story was till after the film ended when I put all the clues and plot twists together.

Thought this was a pretty good film
Thought this was a pretty good film, has audio description for visually impared people which is nice. The plot is nothing new really but is pretty enjoyable. Hanna is a pretty interesting character, and very well acted, Hanna's accent is just adorable :p along with her mannerisms and such, which leads to a few comical moments throughout and makes it a very enjoyable film.

Great Adventure pruchase
Great plot & entertainment - something different superbly acted by a great cast led by Saoirse Ronan.. The ending leaves the adventure sort of incomplete … but easily solved by watching the alternative offered on the DVD. Sort of rounds the whole Film off. Not sure why the Producers didn't make it part of the whole in the first inst. It would have scored much higher ratings.

Disappointing
Disappointing. A film about nothing - no story, no play, no sense.

Utter chaos! This movie makes no sense.
Poor scenography, bad stunts, stiff acting, embarrassing secondary characters that make no sense whatsoever disconnected one to another.Heavy use of questionable cinematic effects such as slow-motion or simply just randomly spinning the camera in any direction as an attemp to boost the weak story (didn't really work). You'll spend 90% of your time frowning at your screenWhy did she climbed up if she had a gun?Why there's a bunch of people jogging? Why are the lights in the prison flashing now? Does she have electric superpowers?THE BLOND DUDE! (and his outfit)He's two minions. Where do they come from? And so on...
