Incredible product
I get my hair professionally done every 9-12 weeks. I will continue using this product religiously in between appointments. Attached are photos of after I applied the GLAZE GLOSS as well as photos after I rinsed my hair and blew it out; henceforth ‘FINAL PRODUCT’ photos!!! The cooling tones in addition to the saturation of nutrients did WONDERS for not just my highlights, it did wonders for my whole head of hair!! The cooling tones did it’s due-diligence to my highlights, the final results in regards to color is OVERALL STUNNING!!(altered & cooled my highlights tint/tone/color- to the idealistic shade), the newly nourished texture is INCREDIBLE, very soft and smooth… and lets talk about the SHINE 😳🫢😍 👉 🕶️ ✨ My hair is gleaming, the SHINE is literally astonishing & all around results are amazing… I blow-out & straighten my hair multiple times a week, which is damaging… Even with all the heat I use I’m fortunate that my hair , regularly , doesn’t look dull or brittle - however, let’s be honest, it doesn’t sustain a good shine… After using GLAZE my hairs shine is IMMENSELY INCREDIBLE/noticeable. I appreciate this product and will continue using it in between my salon appointment. Ladies and gents- this Glaze Super Gloss Color Conditioning Gloss – Vanilla Lights is a MUST BUY!! I guarantee it’s worth every penny!!

Sorta Fixes Hot Roots Didn’t Tone My Blonde
Confessions of a kitchen beautician here. I had a birthday present hair cut and dye . I know you can’t tell from the photos included here intentionally on my part but my hair is mid back so it’s $$$ to go and get it done. And as such the botch job on my hair was devastating. The base was way too dark. Cue Amazon panic scrolls to try and fix what the Salon who didn’t understand the assignment (twice I might add). Long hair story short I bought a dye from a German hair brand that begins with S and it did what the box promised and lifted 4 levels. Only my n00b self forgot to account for the fact my roots didn’t need that kind of power. As such my dark blonde natural base became a coppery bleach blonde. Cut to Hot Roots entering the chat and refusing to change their tone. I have thrown the veritable kitchen sink at it. It could be worse truthfully but it’s all I see: The lighter roots glaringly obvious. To add insult to a self inflicted injury it makes my hair look like it’s thinning because of the contrast. Being desperate I bought a root touch up kit in light dark brown which I put on first which no hate to the French brand that begins with L’ but it didn’t do much. And slapped on this glaze after. Don’t worry with appropriate drying time. Where I did not follow the rules here is I left the glaze on longer about 1hr 30. The Good: While it does kinda sorta look a little better head on. I still have hot roots sigh. Perfectly aware this is not what the product was designed for but it did help. Though the lighting is very yellow and showing otherwise it looks at least fuller and closer to the base. But I was not really doing the whole auburn thing but I’ll take it for now. For the medium of it all my hair feels very well conditioned. And as the bottle also promises, it has lovely shine so rest assured on those two fronts it provides. The smell is also reasonably pleasant. Kinda like a fancy salon shampoo. The bad: It did not tone the blonde that you see in the first image. Those blonde bits were erased by the root touch up not the glaze. The blonde remains almost identical to the initial images pre-root smudge for reference. The bottle shows caramel and honeyed tones to that tone of blonde. The caramel highlights one. So that didn’t really happen. Can’t tell you why but my color is cursed generally at the moment so 50/50. The product didn’t deliever and I am very very disappointed with myself. All I wanted was a bronde and I got an unwanted “hair journey”. So maybe take that into consideration. Overall, it’s a mixed bag guys. Fixed the problem I didn’t expect it to but didn’t fix what I intended it for. Hot roots blended, hair conditioned and shiny but blonde untoned and ashy. While probably I’m gonna have to dye it all dark and wait for my roots to grow out ?!? Maybe their other glazes on not a hot kitchen mess would work better. But probably would not repurchase.

I think this is my second review...that's how good this is!!
This is one of the safest and best products on the market for hair color. I've been using it over the past year. I don't ever do anything close to permanent color and usually use demi permanent which tends to be good, but can give the wrong color often times and I have to wait for the fade out to be really happy. I was hesitant to use Glaze not knowing what it would do to my older, slowly graying fine somewhat thin short light brown hair but I'm so glad I took the plunge. I went with the lightest color caramel in order to take it slow just in case the color went crazy like other products I've used. I use it every couple of weeks. I love that it's so fun and easy to use. I get up in the morning, put it on my hair, let it sit for about 20 minutes, then jump in the shower and wash/condition/dry as usual. No extra bottles, no gloves, no mixing. Glaze along with my usual products gives me extra volume, bounce and just enough color to soften my grays, highlight them nicely against the brown I still have and the shine is great! I will use it as long as it's available. Anyone waiting to use it, just try it, the color fades over a few days and you can try different colors until you find the right one without risking your hair's health. You can also use it to boost any color that you may be growing out. For short hair, the bottle lasts quite a while.

don’t buy
I usually like this brand as it has always worked well for me, but this glaze in particular did not work at all. It did not tone my hair at all or make it feel as soft as it normally does it also did not make my hair shiny. I’ve used their products many times so far so I know I was using it correctly. I guess I just got a bad bottle. pretty disappointed.

Solid Product!
I get my hair highlighted once a year and toned every 3 months or so, so in between the salon appointments my highlights get a bit more yellow than i prefer. I tried this product last night and it worked better than i expected! I applied it to clean damp hair- and let it sit for about 15 minutes ( 5 minutes longer than recommended) but i really wanted a bit more color pay off. I only used half the bottle which was pretty good considering my heat reaches my waist. I blow dried and curled it and it is noticeably softer and shinier with a lot more bounce. I did not notice any greasy residue which i was worried about after reading the other reviews. So far i’m very happy with the caramel tone it gave my highlights, so now i just hope it lasts a bit longer than other reviews have said!

Not my favorite
It did deposit a bit of color which ended up fading sooner than the 10 washes as advertised. And it doesn’t really give a glossy glaze look especially on my curly hair maybe it works better on straight hair.

don’t walk, RUN
i’ve never sprinted so fast to write a product review, but here it is. this stuff is INCREDIBLE. i wish i took before and after pictures. i have brown hair with a blonde balayage ombré that gets brassy FAST (not sure if it’s due to my water supply or not). usually i tone it using a blue shampoo, but it gets super messy and takes an hour to sit in my hair. NOT WITH GLAZE. i will say, the packaging makes it difficult for the product to come out, and they could give you more for the price, but the end results are SO worth it. it took my brassy, almost orange hair to a perfect pearl blonde color in about 15 minutes (i know it says to leave it in for 10, i left it in a little bit longer). it didn’t leave my shower a mess, and it left my hair feeling SO soft and SO healthy with a beautiful shine. if you’re on the fence about buying it, this is your sign to!

Smells like baby powder 😊
I have bleached blonde hair. My under tones are orange and I couldn’t find anything that would calm that tone down!! Vanilla lights worked beautifully! I left in for 10mins on wet hair, started at the roots and worked my way down. It blended my tones so nicely and my boyfriend says it looks shiny, smooth and natural! Thank you Glaze!!! 😍 Edit: couple washes in and holding up! Also enhances highlights that may have not been very noticeable before hand! Edit*: for those finding it hard to get out of the bottle, add just a little water and shake, helps and doesn’t affect product as you can put on wet or dry hair!!

(Vanilla Lights) Toned A Little and Conditioned
I tried the Vanilla Lights on brown hair with blonde highlights. I think it toned a little but it wasn't super noticeable on my hair. I could probably get two uses out of this on my shoulder length hair. I'm not sure if it works any better than regular purple conditoners or purple hair masks. I don't think it made my hair look "glossed" but it did make it feel soft. Overall it's okay.

Leaves your hair the same but greasy
All this product managed to do was leave my hair greasier than it was before I got in the shower. No change in colour or shine, unless you count the oiliness. After double shampooing before applying and then rinsing the product out thoroughly, it shouldn’t leave my hair feeling like this. And not even worth giving it the benefit of the doubt and re-shampooing next time since it’s had no impact as a toner or deep conditioner. Don’t waste your money.
