Excellent quality!
Fantastic quality from a respected company. 22mm is narrow by today's cartoon standard but perfect for a 50+ year old race bike.

I like these better than Vittorias 2x the price
My most recent tubies were Graphene Corsa 2.0s, and weren't that easy to find. These have lasted more miles already. Vittorias were too fragile.Sure, they're maybe not as fast, but for the twice the value and the same or better perceived grip...? Yeah, I'm buying German. They feel just as quick and comfier to me, perhaps because my setup is a bit stiff 😁

Good, but would have preferred it in 25mm width
Too early to tell if durability is better than Conti Competition tubs. I would have preferred the Giro in a 25mm width as at 22mm it currently makes the bike look very retro!

so far a good tire.
Did a 32 mile ride today and so far there a nice riding tire. Very little to no rolling resistance. Not a big fan of the white side walls but its becoming very hard in the US to get a good quality tubular tire at a fordable price and receive them in a timely manner.

One defect. One blow out.
Installed on Envy 7.8 rims at the same time. Front randomly blew out at 103 miles where the valve stem meets the tire/tube. The second made it to a whopping 121 miles and then it blew out (the pictured one) I was riding on a normal improved surface. Nothing crazy.Sent a message to Continental… no response.Swapped them out for Vittoria Rallys. Hopefully I have better luck.

A Great Tubular
Conti Giro tires from 25 years ago were inferior to the new ones! I was shocked at the high quality of this tire. This tire can be used for training or racing. Very durable also. I have over 200 miles on a pair and they're barely broken in. I use them on my classic De Bernardi made of Columbus MAX tubing. They give a very nice ride with good feedback. Conti tubulars never fail like other brands are known to do. Inherently trustworthy.

They are slimmer .. 700x22
I like them! Definitely perfect for back ups! Ordered 700x25 and will remove these (Not glued or taped yet) and replace with wider tire. Again perfect for back ups. Building a project bike so wanted to see how they would look, I do like the tan wheel well.

Irregular quality
Purchased 3 sets of tyres and got anywhere from 800 to 8mi out of the rear.1st try I got 800 commute miles before a catastrophic blowout. I felt this was more than expected and was happy. Then the replacement only lasted two days before catastrophic blowout. Now the third Tyre has lasted 100mi but it has developed a flat spot and needs to be replaced.I assume that the tires were produced some time ago and are being sold on Amazon cheaply to get rid of inventory. The tubular Tyre is without a doubt the most enjoyable Tyre type to ride on and changing a flat on the side of the road is quick and easy. Mounting with rim tape is also easy. But the longevity of them has me looking for other options. I will keep a wheelset in the garage for less frequent use but am changing back to a tube and Tyre combo for my commute.Enjoy the ride and maintenance but dislike the fragility.
