5kg Premium Sunflower Hearts

I used sunflower hearts for a first time after feeding the birds mixed seed previously. - I use bottle feeders, so nothing larger than a sparrow can get to them, and I am staggered by the queue of birds awaiting their turn to grab a seed. Blue, Great and Coal tits form the majority of the visitors (around 50 or 60 in total) but there are goldfinches, chaffinches and robins take their turns too. - It's such a pleasure to watch them, but so many birds in one place has attracted a Kestrel on occasion.*EDIT March 2017* - One other benefit is these seeds don't germinate. - Had sunflowers all over last year because I'd used the full seeds!

Tits and Finches love this. There are anything up to seven or eight at a time clustered around the feeding cage. Robins have a go sometimes and there are always Blackbirds and Hedge Sparrows sweeping up underneath. Top class Sunflower Seed Hearts.

The goldfinches (and others) get through these at a great rate, so we buy large quantities. These are good value for money and save frequent trips to the shops. Good strong packaging, but we decant to a plastic container to stop the mice getting in.

A good value well packed item. The birds seem to love them but still await the finches flying in.

Arrived within promised timescale well packaged. The birds in my garden love sunflower hearts but the shells make an awful mess so this product is an ideal solution to that.
