So happy with these sleeping bags!
This is a long review, but I really wanted to share our experiences. I did a lot of research to find the best sleeping bag for me to use on a 17-day Roadtrip in the pacific northwest, that would be warm enough, waterproof, wide enough for me to sleep comfortably in (I'm a big girl and I sleep with my knees up, )and that would compress into a small bag. I was led to this bag. I ordered it from Amazon, and the zipper did not work well because it appeared that it got crimped up. I contacted the company, and they were very responsive and concerned to make things right. I was able to return it and get another one right away. The company contacted me again to make sure that I was satisfied. We had ordered another brand of bag for my teenage daughter but she liked mine better, both for the size and comfort. We returned hers and bought 2 more of these for her and my husband. We camped for several days on our trip, and never stayed at the same campground for more than one night. The sleeping bags were perfect! Pros: Size! Wide and long Compresses easily to a reasonable size with a bag Soft in the inside, but easy to keep clean Waterproof! It was so nice to wake up in the morning in a dry bag (other things were damp in the mornings) Hood at the top to keep pillows where they need to be (and you can pull out tight around your head, if needed.) Light, but warm enough for 3 seasons Has flap to cover the top of the zipper so that it doesn't come unzipped while sleeping (and you can fold over the flap so that the velcro doesn't scratch you when you aren't using the flap.) Cons : Due to the hood, the bag only opens on the right side (from a laying down point of view.) I asked my daughter what her cons were, and she said it was difficult to put in the bag. Neither my husband nor I struggled with it, but I thought I should mention it. My husband felt that it was a bit too light to keep him warm (he gets very cold) so we just took an extra blanket for him. Overall, we were extremely pleased with these bags and the respect and concern of the company. We were so glad to have them and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a sleeping bag with these qualities.

Great lightweight oversized sleeping bag!
I bought this to use in a small bunk house. I love it. As it's summer, I unzipped it and used it like a blanket, but I suspect in colder weather I will use it like a regular sleeping bag. It was a great weight for summer, the inside (gray) is nice and soft and the exterior (nylon, light weight, silky) is cool to the touch. I used it in 85 degree humid weather and found it comfortable. One night dipped down to 50 degrees and it kept me warm as well. I will see how it does in weather under 50 degrees. It can easily be compressed and rolled into the small bag it comes with for easy storage. The only complaint I have is that my bunk was against the wall and the zipper is on the left side if you look at it on the bed) not the right, which I would have preferred but I can overlook this. Also I am 270 lbs and fit perfectly in there so it's a great size for a larger person.

Pretty good warm to slightly cool weather bag
I bought this bag (no discounts or coupons) to replace my old cotton flannel lined 25 year old sleeping bag, which was really bulky even for car camping. I have used it on 2 tent camping trips this spring, one in Minnesota in late May and one in New Mexico for a week in mid June. Overnight temps in both cases ranged from the mid 30s to upper 40s F. As far as warmth goes, I'm a middle of the road person warmth wise and don't overheat or get cold very easily. I found I had to get up in the middle of the night to put on socks and a fleece shirt over my base layer PJs once the temp hit about 40F, so I'd rate this bag as comfortable down to about 45F personally. I love the top lip on the bottom layer of this bag- it helps to keep that pillow in place, and gives you just a little more comfort if you like your arm under your pillow at night. Never woke up with my face on the sleeping pad or tent floor. The inner liner is smooth and soft, and feels good on exposed areas of skin. The texture of the outside of the bag makes it much less slippery than my old one, so I also didn't tend to slide off the pad at night with the slight ground slope at our campsite, which was a welcome change. The width and length of the bag were great- my 3 year old crawled into this bag with me in the middle of every night, and we both fit comfortably. I did notice in New Mexico that I tended to wake up feeling like the inside of the bag was a little moist overall, as if the bag wasn't breathing all that well or wicking perspiration effectively. None of my other sleeping bags has ever had this issue, even on rainy trips. The zipper seems to be the same as every other bag I've had- it still catches the bag on the way up or down, but the velcro at the top helps prevent zipper creep so I'm OK overall with it. I just bought a bag liner to try- will see if that helps the moisture issue and the warmth. I love the size, shape, and nonslip outer material that makes this bag easy to put in the stuff sack. Also love how small it packs down for a car camping bag. If the liner doesn't help much, I'll still use this bag, but I will start looking for another bag with a little more warmth and wicking in the same shape and design as this one.

Perfect!
A great sleeping bag and value. Took these to a music fest. There was little room in the car with all the camping gear. So I gave these a shot. Easy in and out of the compression bag. Got them back in the bags on the first try. Nice color; much nicer than the picture depicts. The color is almost metallic. These are very warm and roomy. It dipped down to about 50 and I had to take off my sweatshirt it got so hot. Nicely made, easy to get zippered. I like the envelope shape, although I think that works better with the “envelope” on top (flip the bag). It covers your head better. I’m 5 9, about 225 and stocky. There was more than enough room, width and lengthwise. Highly recommend for the price.

Worked well, and was cozy without being too restrictive. When buying a sleeping bag, be sure to check the width and length, as many of the cheaper options are much thinner, making it tight around the shoulders/torso and an absolute pain if you roll-over in your sleep.
