First off, the lamp is beautiful and looks better in person, it's not a glossy black paint, more of a textured wrought iron look. Nice.However, the packaging, even though it was shipped inside an Amazon box, wasn't enough to protect it. Upon unboxing there was a cracked pane in the fixture.I'll follow through with install, if it ends up being a dud, it's going to 1 stars. However, if all works well, it'll maintain the 2 stars.Edit: install easy as pie, but being an electrician and having a friend that's also an electrician assist with the install helps too. Just shut down the house (or the specific location) in your circuit breaker, match the colors (blk w/ blk, wht w/ wht and bare with bare) use the twist lock caps supplied and mount up and you're golden.I'll change it to a 3/5. It really does look quite nice mounted up, and you can't beat the pricing. If you get a mint condition one in the mail, anything lower than 5 stars is undeserved.Even if it dies after a couple years, it was worth it.

Disappointed in these - listing states “clear beveled glass” - they are actually cheap plastic, no glass at all. Very lightweight as well - certainly would not place them on a table while readying it to hang - it might blow away with a 10 mph wind.I didn’t expect fabulous for $28, but I expected the description to be truthful. There are lights by other manufacturers that ARE glass on here - just bought four for $37 a piece.Edited to add: NO metal as stated in the description either - just all around crappy plastic.

For the money you can't really beat it, metal frame, real glass not plastic and it looks really good when installed. I took one star off because it is really hard to install flush if your lamp outlet box is not almost exactly flush to the exterior surface you want to mount it to, and it is not really suitable for wet locations "as is" because it does not come with any kind of foam gasket, you will need to buy a suitable size foam gasket and/or caulk around the edge.

Shipped packaged well and quickly. Item was as described. Easy installation with instructions. Read reviews before purchasing and I feel I made a good choice. The color is very nice. Had it up awhile now and still going strong. Even held up through recent hurricane!

Beautiful design - amazing price - very happy with this purchase! Ordered 15 for around our country estate home and love the rustic but classy look. I would strongly suggest using the clear vintage-filament LED light bulbs to complete the look and to keep the integrity of the lantern design.

These lights were ordered as replacement outdoor light for our garage. I wasn't sure what I was going to get for such an inexpensive light set. BUT... I've had them up for almost a month now and I am NOT disappointed. The lights themselves feel pretty well made and are very nice to look at. Mine arrived on time, in tact and were packaged very well. The lights came with the correct hardware and were very easy to install. I wouldn't hesitate buying another set of these to replace any additional outdoor lighting.

We needed a total of eight of these plus one matching pole light in order to replace all of exterior lighting at our house. Overall, we really like them. One arrived with broken glass so we had to return it for another one. Another one we probably should have returned but we ended up keeping it. It had quite a few scratches in the paint. Most of them had been visibly touched up by black paint that was close to matching the original but not quite. Some spots had not been touched up. Since we just installed them, we cannot speak for how well they will last but since it is a painted finish versus something metallic, I assume they will do okay.

I ordered 3 of these in black and compared to the ones I'd looked at HD, they seemed rather large out of the box and I worried they may overwhelm the front of my single story home but they are gorgeous, simple but elegant. They compliment the garage door hardware which is a bonus. Replacing the bulbs will be a breeze and my electrician said they were an easy install, in fact he liked them so much he'll be getting some for his home. Very Pleased.

Disappointing. Bought these as a gift for my sister and they came in two very different paint finishes. Otherwise quality seems fine, but very disappointed in the look.

Beautiful fixtures. Easy to install.

It will be a nice addition at my new porch.
