Happy with the bulbs as they are every bit as bright and same color as the originals that came with my Bug Zapper. The bugs immediately got zapped again upon installation. I was thrilled after installation. The only disappointment was that the original lights lasted a year where these only lasted three months. Still, even with the shortened time they lasted, I still reordered more of these same lights as they worked so well while they were working. I just bought two packs this time instead of just the single pack of four bulbs.Update: Last batch I bought lasted 6 months. These are definitely the bulbs to purchase imo, as my Zapper has killed gajillions of bugs with these lights. I noticed the bulbs had burned out last night when there was a fly in the kitchen and a few fruit flies in the trash can, a problem I have not had to deal with in a long time. Replaced the bulbs with the remainders I had left and it immediately started zapping. I adore my bug zapper with these bulbs!

Yes buy a six pack of these before you need them keep them in the cabinet kitchen or room where your bug zappers hanging! Unplug turn off and use some scissors against the outside screen and the inside bug zapper discharge it yes it will shock the crap out of you! Double check it pop the bottom of the outside screen off using the scissors on the bottom, unscrew the ball bits shows dark on one side screw in a new bulb right the month and year with a sharpie take the old bulb market X on the end of it with the Sharpie put it back in the cardboard sleeve reorder after you've used four bulbs Amazon

So if these bulbs have lasted three months, I would’ve been happy. One of the bulbs has burned out after at least four months being on 24-7. I’m not exactly sure, could be more like five months so I think it’s a very good good buy.

The quality of these fluorescent bulbs are marginal at best. I operate my bug killer 24 hours a day and get about 2 1/2 to 3 months out of lamps. Other fluorescent bulbs that operate 24 hours a day last me over 3 years . On a positive note the party pack of 6 bulbs are cheap enough so I just have plenty on hand.

We’ve been dealing with mosquitos in our home all summer. It’s the worst. My daughter has really bad allergic reaction to their bites. So we needed to replace the bulbs on our indoor bug zapper. These aren’t attracting anything. They don’t work. It’s not the bug zapper. They will randomly zap but they could be flying next to the bug zapper and not be attracted at all.

They fit well and if your zapper is working correctly will last at least 6 months. I would put the zapper on a surge suppressor if you live in an area prone to thunderstorms.

Let me begin by saying. I bought the zapper that these bulbs go in for my parents. A lot of my purchases are actually my parents purchased but as they getting up in years they often ask me to order for them the things they want or need . …. Last summer my poor beloved parents were being chomped to bits…. And I’m so serious when I say that… I’ll explain , my mom had a corner on the couch that she like to sit and pray and read her bible. She keeps her pens and note book and bible and her little prayer books and whatever. She has a lamp right next to her and that’s her lil spot where she talks to Jesus…. let me add to this review the fact that my parents sliding door and screen is left open all hours of the day and night and any kind of critter crawling or flying just comes right in like it’s party time. They think they’re still in the Bay Area they forget with age that they’re in the desert now and Nevada has got some BUGS!!!!!! Anyway I show up for a visit one night about 7:30 the sun is going down and my mom is sitting in her spot with her lamp on reading her bible and let me tell you she is sitting in the middle of a swarm !!!! She must have 50 mosquitos just flying around her head prolly bleeding her dead!!!! I say MOTHER MOVE OUT THE WAY YOU ARE SITTING IN A SWARM OF BUGS…. I pick up their zapper shaped like a tennis racquet and start swinging and let me tell you it sounded like microwave popcorn. I killed so many mosquitos it was crazy … so after that I said we gotta get better zappers for this house. We purchased 3. My parents loved them but that is for another review. Summer is upon us and my parents pull out their zappers again but the bulbs are all dead. So I purchase a pack and let em know I’ll be around the next day to put their bulbs in. Bulbs arrive on time I head over to my mom and dads and I tell my mom to unplug the zappers and I install the bulbs. Two of the bulbs down light up. So don’t you know I reach to remove the bulbs without turning the zappers off and unplugging it and that thing hit me like a bolt of lightening . I got turned up so high my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I couldn’t pull my finger away from it . My mom is not paying attention but after a second looking at me with my eyes roller back she lets out a little gasp and somehow I get my finger back… Boy I was jacked up good it scared the daylights outta me !! My finger was black I thought I was gonna lose my finger nail. I can hardly believe what a dumb thing I did so don’t make my mistake . These are good bulbs they do the job and if your not careful you could be zapped up dead as a bug !!! So be careful !!!!.
