Excellent alternative to Elizabethan cones for surgical recovery. Cute and functional.
My little kitty, Hazel, needed this recovery suit to heal from her spay surgery. She was about 6lbs at the time, so I bought a size medium in the unicorns and rainbow print, and it fit her really well. The size chart is accurate, so be sure to measure your cat's neck, chest and leg circumferences. There's a drawstring at the neck opening to cinch it up, and Velcro along the back to keep the suit on. My kitty is so calm that she let me put it on her without a fight, but you may need two people to dress your cat if they're feisty. She could not get the suit off after I put it on her, and she wore it without being bothered too much, after the first 30 minutes or so of getting used to it.Hazel was in her little suit (which we called her kitty PJs) for about 6 weeks during her recovery time, since she had some complications. This suit kept her from chewing and licking at the incision site, so I would say that it shortened her recovery time overall. She was able to eat and drink normally, so this is a wonderful alternative to the "cone of shame" that the vet sent home with her. The suit is a lightweight, somewhat stretchy material and has an opening on the behind, under the tail, so your kitty can use the bathroom without any problems. Please note, when you wash this garment, it's important to stick the Velcro together, so that it doesn't snag the surrounding material of the suit. It will make pulls in the material. I hung mine to dry, just so the dryer wouldn't damage it. This suit was a lifesaver for my Hazel kitty. I would definitely buy another in Large now that she's grown up a bit.

Worked perfect for our Female kitty, but not for our Male kitty.
Such a great replacement if you don't want to force your cat to wear the Cone of Shame. Our kitten was too small and it kept falling off, so we got this after she got spayed and it worked exactly how we hoped. We have a short hair smaller lanky/slim cat and a medium fit perfect.***We tried using this on a new male kitty we rescued who HATED the cone/inflatable donut we tried. And because of the hole cut out for the cats tail, he was still able to get to his stitches. Luckily he only picked them the first day and got over it and healed. So in our experience with this "Onesie", it worked perfectly for our female cat, but not for our male cat (since the females stitches were on the bottom of her stomach, and the male cats stitches we under his butt) Hopefully that makes sense.

Almost perfect
It's a great suit, but the cat it was for was an escape artist. I thought for a bit we'd finally found one she couldn't get off, but she ended up with one leg out of its hole and partially through another, making it dangerous to try and walk and jump (she was a jumper!) I have it in case I need it for another cat, as it is a sturdy soft onesie suit.

Solid product, but be attentive to size and whether/how fast your cat is growing
Product works exactly as advertised and is well-made; the fabric is breathable so I even my Siberian didn't overheat in it, and it didn't seem to cause any matting (a concern that I've had with onesies/surgery suits with how long and silky her fur is). One thing that I want to note for anyone getting this for a kitten is that it's worth remembering kittens are still growing! I ordered a small the day after my cat's surgery; it's been less than a week, and it's already too small to comfortably fit over her back and front legs at the same time. It's snug enough to still do the job even when she just wears it like a shirt (back legs loose), but I wish I'd thought ahead and ordered a size up 😅

Leg holes are too small
I ordered this in a medium for my little 7 pounder after she got spayed. This is one of several I got her, and even though it's the cutest, it is my least favorite. The material is nice and seems durable, and it held up great in the wash, but the back leg holes are significantly smaller in this than on any other model I own. I had to really pull her thigh through and fit the elastic around the top, and then the elastic was tight enough that when slipping a finger between it and her leg I felt more pressure than I was comfortable with. The alternative is not pulling the leg through, which restricts movement.I could have sized up, which might have mitigated the issue, but I'm not confident that it would work even then, as the shape of the leg hole itself is more restrictive than other models. Also, the rest of it clearly fits her fine.

My cat kept it on!
I thought the size wouldn’t be small, but it fit perfectly. My cat did not try to pull it off so it was comfortable. She had she got spayed and it covered her completely. She wore it or about 10 days and looked adorable. She was, however, on pain medicine, which helped her relax a little. But I would recommend this. Very durable.
