Already had this YALE deadbolt in my front solid wood door for the past 18 yeras; with huge amount of use it finally broke few months ago; the new Yale deadbolt lock was again easy to fit and works perfectly. With the 5 lever Yale mortice lock on my front door it would have to be cut through for someone to enter without a key!! The deadbolt is some 3 cm and really throws a big brass deadbolt to secure the door; however you cannot get locked out as only gets locked when you are inside. Comes with clear fitting instructions and 3 very good quality Yale KEYS !! Excellent price too for such a strong ., secure quality product.

the key gets stuck in the lock, useless

I bought this for an interior door and it looks excellent, very in-keeping with interior décor and a very strong and sturdy lock. Locks in this style are hard to come by, so I was glad I found this. The installation is fairly straight forward for keen DIY-ers but I needed to by a specific sized-hole cutter for this job. I would have no hesitation to recommend this and I would definitely purchase again for other projects.

Really pleased with the ease of how this installed.I just needed to mark on the door where I needed to drill the holes, and it fitted very nicely. No dramas.Solid and sturdy, and looks like a quality item.

A good lock but awkward to fit. You need a 54mm hole cutting bit luckily I had one. Got it fitted but wouldn’t release the key,instructions say put the spindle through the horizontal but I took it out and put it through vertically and worked fine. Instructions maybe wrong.

Easy to install

box says 35-50mm door width. suprised that such a large hole, 54mm, had to be drilled to fit it. comes with 3 keysworks well and serves my purposes perfectly
