Night light and charger

I was really excited about this when I saw it. I had seen these on another site, however that is site may not be to safe to order from. Just wish I would have read the description a little better. This thing has a battery in it and even it you have it plugged in to an outlet, it still draws from the battery causing the battery to die. Not to sure why this has a battery, I mean I get it has a bluetooth speaker but it an alarm clock too. Would have been better without the battery. The sound from the speaker is pretty good, the light is bright, the clock function is nice, however the night sounds are terrible. 3 stars one the the sound, one for the light, and one for the clock. None for the battery or the Night sounds. Oh and you have to have your own power adapter.

The media could not be loaded.  First off the 1st unit I received was defective (it wouldn't charge anything and the buttons did not work as advertised) and I promptly arranged for a return replacement, which arrived in 2 days. This review is based on the replacement unit.When plugged in you simply press and hold the Power button and you hear a sound and the lights cycle. The charger, while only a 10 watt charger, worked on my Samsung Phone with a very thick case on it.Bluetooth pairing was very straight forward and easy and the speaker is decent for it's size, would be good for someone that plays some sleep noise or music on their phone when they 1st go to bed. The pause, skip and volume up and down worked flawlessly.My biggest issue is with the lights, I can't get it to stay on a single color other than white (which is a very yellowish warm light), all other selections end up with moving lights, which are cool but not what I want at night, I was hoping to be able to select a solid blue or red as a night light.The instructions state to Press and Hold the M button and then use the light (Power on/off) button to change lights but all I can do is press the M button and then it goes into bluetooth mode and then I can switch light effects using the Light button, but the only solid color is "Warm" Sometimes while tying to Press and Hold the M button and cycle the lights with the light button the unit Powers OFF.For the price I would expect more from this, like a number of solid colors, and buttons that work as described in the manual.

I love cool things like this for my office. The brightness and sound quality are definitely worth it. BUT, the battery life is not great. Even if I leave it plug in the battery dies and needs to be charged turned off. Also, I can't get it to actually charge my phone.It's a cute buy. But if you need it last more than four hours, this is not the speaker for you.

It does pretty much everything it says it does, though not that great. The changing color setting for the lights is really bright and rotates really quickly which is very stimulating for a night light. The white noise settings are incredible loud and poor audio quality and there is no volume setting, so it only plays at one volume: LOUD. The alarm clock also doesn’t always work and it doesn’t hold a charge so it has to be plugged in at all times, which is really inconvenient considering it comes with a charging cable and no plug.
