AB Tools Extra Long 20m Recovery Strap Tow Rope & Two Shackles 8T Towing 4x4 Off Road

I used this for winching a tractor implement (1.5 tonnes) out of a waterlogged field using a hand winch. The strap is very sturdy and has very little stretch in it, unlike my arms which, after winching a 6ft topper for 60 metres, are very unsturdy and have a lot of stretch....This towing strap is excellent and comes with two good quality D shackles too.One month later and I used this strap to pull a 3.5 tonne tractor out or the same field (with another tractor, not a winch). The strap handled the load perfectly.

Not yet used for towing, but the strap appears tough and capable of most towing tasks. However, there isn't a rating on the strap and absolutely nothing on the two included bow shackles. Looking at the size of the bow shackles, I don't have much confidence in using them for an eight tonne tow. Perhaps AB Tools can advise?Note: this strap is sold as a towing strap, not a lifting strap, only use it for towing, NOT for lifting.Reading other reviews, I am confident the strap will tow a 3.5 tonne load, so I'll rate it at that. Overall, for the cost it's a good value, robust and durable towing strap.
