LED ME® Stainless Steel Round Under Cabinet LED Cupboard/Cabinet Light/Downlight in a Brushed Chrome Finish (Warm White 3000-3200K)

We’re pretty confident DIYers so we fitted these ourselves as they were a replacement for an old and broken set of halogen ones. All the wiring was already in place and so were the holes in the kitchen cabinets so this was such an easy fit. They are bright and the units seemed well made. We’re very happy.

Very easy to install (class II so only live and neutral needed) and give a nice, warm light.

If I had read the negative reviews I would not have purchased these lights however I am glad I did. The housing is thin and cheap, the internal grip for the light is weak so be careful putting the led in and out. Apart from this the internal driver means I could throw away the old transformers from previous lights and they have been working well with no issues. If they fail as per previous reviews I would still purchase the same replacements due to cost and easy installation.

I bought this light to put into a display unit. The light is small and lightweight but is bright so is ideal for use.The cable is very short so I had to buy cable and connections prior to installing the light.I would definitely recommend this item.

From this listing the metal case that looks like it might actually be Stainless Steel or aircraft grade aluminium, but what I received looked like it was in fact made from lacquered mild steel, in two sections which clip together unkemptly and are completely unsuitable for a kitchen or other steamy environment (the rating is a mere IP20 would you believe!!!) Asides from the terrible case quality and build, one of the three units I received would not even illuminate. The wires on all three were a stingy 5 inches long, and to add insult to injury you cannot access the internal terminals to fit a longer supply cable. The two which did light up had visible strobing, which makes many people feel nauseous and is a sure indication of a cheaply built internal 'driver' (actually a bridge-rectifier and AC transformer). This improved when an LED Snubber was added to the circuit (could not obtain one from Amazon, I had to use eBay!) These lamps are NOT double insulated and nor are they earthed - the implications of which I will leave to your own imagination. They do not meet the regulations and I am absolutely astonished that Amazon even allow their sale.

Be aware that the cable on these sealed units is only about 15cm long. If installing them in a kitchen ( where you might have many) therefore requires a connection, (added point of failure) and an additional length of cable adding every lamp.Previous versions of this lamp that I purchased used to have a tail of about 1 meter.

One only worked for a day but they are easy to fit and replace

Very easy to install good all round light I use them for my glass cabinet creates a very good light
