There was no remote at all (this is my first time of hearing about such) but great idea if it Did come with one. And same with a dimmer switch these sunlight LED falling rain lights, do not have a dimmer switch. I hope this answered your question. Have a great day

Q: I plug four but don't work if I test one be one they go on is there a trick to this

They will LINK but there is a small trick. The + and _ terminals (2 little connection prongs) look identical. Plug in your first set, make certain it works. Leave it plugged in. Unscrew the black "plug in" piece from the second one. Connect the second to the first set by removing the cover from the terminal end of the first and screwing the ends together. If they stop working you have to unscrew that same end and turn the connection around so that the metal terminal connections go in the opposite hole it has the first time. They do work and they can be connected in series!

Dear buyer, the whole length of string lights is 112 inches, including the 17.7 power cable, and the space between each light is 11.8 inches, and the falling tube is also 11.8 inches. About more details of the string or space length, you can see Picture 7. Thank you
