I have to say I am a massive fan of LJ Shen, this author writes perfection and the best stories that are addictive to read. Her writing is always flawless, and she writes enemies to lovers genre exceptionally well; when a new book of hers is released I can't wait to get my hands on it.Francesca Rossi is the nineteen year old daughter of the mobs ruthless leader, he's a crook of the worse kind and has no morals. Francesca has been pampered and sheltered by her family her whole life, she is not at all street wise and yet their wealth had not touched her soul and she was a fantastic character to read. This young lady knew what she wanted from her life, she was focused and feisty I so enjoyed her character. A family lead by tradition and old fashioned ways she sails along with a promise to marry her childhood sweetheart from the Bandini family that is until everything turns on it's head. Senator Wolfe Keaton has a massive grudge with Francesca's father and he means to make him pay. The way he goes about this is just exceptional story telling and at first when he was introduced into this story I took an instant dislike to the man; but that didn't last for long. OMG this man was everything, I adored him and his devious addictive ways that attracted me to him like a moth to a flame, he was just the best, honestly I could have read about him forever. Put him in the same vicinity as Francesca and wow did the sparks fly and not all of them good.I loved the push and pull between these two, the chemistry was spectacular and lets face it LJ Shen is a master at writing this sort of thing; the love hate moments, the back biting sarcastic remarks, and the moments that caused me to have a quiet giggle to myself, this book has everything you could want to make a brilliant story.So we have mafia, revenge, love, hate, twist's and turns you will never see coming for one minute and three people's lives at stake, all wrapped up in that perfect cover with the best title that suits this book down to a tee. The Kiss Thief is not the first book I've read by L.J. Shen, and every single time is quite the experience! I found it incredibly compelling. You definitely need to be in the right mood for this level of emotional intensity, but the epic nature of the story makes it worthwhile. It is your typical enemies-to-lovers twist with a particular love for the male lead in this one. I had grown quite attached to Wolfe's character. Red flags, am I right?The Kiss Thief follows two characters who start off despising each other. Francesca, our heroine, has grown up in a sheltered environment dominated by her father, who runs a crime mob. She has always known that her marriage would be arranged, but she harbors feelings for Angelo, a man she hopes to marry. However, at an official dinner, she meets Wolfe, a senator who is both handsome and arrogant, viewing her as nothing more than a spoiled rich girl. After that night, Wolfe steals a kiss from her, leading to an engagement arranged by her father. Despite her initial hatred for Wolfe, she is drawn to him physically and starts to see beneath his tough exterior.This novel is one of the best enemies-to-lovers romances I have read in a long time. The angst is quite overwhelming at times, but about halfway through, it takes a backseat as the relationship between Francesca and Wolfe develops. Both characters have explosive personalities, leading to intense and powerful interactions. Francesca is driven and determined to make something of herself, despite her father’s restrictions, showing her strength and kind nature when not provoked.Wolfe is consumed by anger and hatred, particularly towards Francesca’s father, as he seeks revenge. However, he never expected to fall in love with Francesca. Despite his rough exterior, Wolfe is driven to succeed, with aspirations of becoming President of the United States and a genuine desire to serve his country and help others. Seeing the softer side of his personality, his hopes, and dreams, and his capacity for love was deeply rewarding as a reader.After reading a few of L.J. Shen novels, I’m definitely inclined to read more of her work.Overall, I found The Kiss Thief to be a captivating and intense romance. It beautifully portrays the rollercoaster of emotions, making you laugh and cry, with a delivery that is both unique and dynamic, leaving a lasting impression on the reader.

Gosto demais da escrita da autora, a forma como os personagens são pacionais é bem intensa e gosto disso, gente vive aquele momento.Keaton e Francesca começaram com a pé errado, mas aprenderam depois de muito lutares um contra o outro o que é preciso para se unir e lutar a favor do outro.O final é feliz como todo livro que leio e isso aquece o coração.Não gostei de um dos plots, mas da para relevar.

I have read this book online and liked it so much I bought it in paperback. It’s gorgeous :)

This was an ok read, i enjoyed the book. I did have some minor issues with the female character tho for a little to long way in for my linking, was a very childish way of acting but when getting to know her bit more it was easier to read the book. It was still a 4⭐ for me.

They will forever be one of my fav book couples 💗🥺The angst, stolen glances & kisses, and the sexual tension between both of them was through the roof! 🥵😮‍💨This was my first read by her and will not be my last. I finished this book within a night. It was such a delightful binge-worthy read!It’s a very captivating book which I couldn’t put it down.
