I have a long hair cat that hates being groomed, if I get a brush/comb out I find out just how quickly he can move, so unfortunately hi gets matted hair. I thought I'd try these not holding out much hope. I cannot believe it, not only are they quiet they must emit a vibration on his fur that he likes. He stands still while I groom him and even asks for more if I stop. They charge quickly and I would highly recommend.

It’s quite easy to use my cat is long haired furball now it’s taken almost 3 weeks but he is almost furball free. It’s taken lots of treats as he only lets me do a bit at a time

Brought these for my long haired cat. She can be quite feral at times and is scared of everything. Brought these as mentioned how quiet. Well wow managed to clear all the matted fur from her neck just me holding her and she wasn't too bothered. They are quiet and I'm so pleased. Highly recommend

I use this on my long haired cat. It works quite well although you have to work through bit by bit. It does manage to cut through big mats. I got him used to the noise first just by running it nearby , then moved on to cutting. Doesn't get tangled or stuck.

I bought these to deal with the badly matted fur of a stray that was brought to me. Cat was not very keen on having his fur shaved but they were quiet enough for me to get a lot done before violence was commited by flying claws. So a good buy Recommended

These are great! Exactly what we were looking for and worth every penny. We have two long haired cats who, no matter how often we brush them, sadly get mats. This is perfect for getting rid of the mats and protecting the cats skin so it doesn’t get cut! They’re also really quiet so the cats don’t get scared! Winning!!

These clippers are great Had our cat in for annual checkup and asked vet to also remove some matted fur. These are the exact same clippers the vet uses, Told use she got them on Amazon Canada. They worked well and were fairy quiet. So we ordered a pair. They are low noise and go a great job. Comes with attachments to trim cat hair to specific lengths. Our 3 cats love them The noise does not scare them. Clean cuts on the mats. Just take your time. Well worth the price, and they do a great job. Highly recommended.

I have an old cat that gets matted in behind and doesnt let me brush her back there. This trimmer is very low powered and cannot cut large matted fur. I is not capable for the job I needed it to do. It is good for cosmetic touch ups and that is about it. I will cope with smaller matts but you can likely brush those with a rake yourself. I do not recommend.
