LOVE! Perfect fit for this curvy gal & very figure flattering
I’m a curvy gal and needed a LBD for an upcoming cruise. I was a little reluctant buying one online, however, I’ve become quite comfortable and love the ease of making Amazon returns at the UPS store. I figured it was worth a shot since this dress was exactly what I was looking for. For the record I’m 5’6” and 188 lbs. with an hourglass shape and the Large fit me perfectly. It does hug your curves so if you’re looking for something conservative this might not be the best style dress for you. The fabric is stretchy, lightweight, and doesn’t wrinkle so should be great for travel. The only negative thing about the dress is it’s low cut for me (I’m age 57 and busty) so I just placed a small hand stitch at the top so the girls aren’t spilling out and now it’s perfect. You could easily place a small safety pin there instead if you have the same issue.

lovely dress
I am very pleased with the quality and comfort of this dress. The fabric isn't too light or heavy. I'm anticipating needing very comfy clothing to wear in the near future. This will do nicely. I'm 5' tall and feel like I can get away with wearing this (nowhere near as thin as the taller models in the pictures, so doesn't look as good on me). You could easily go down a size and still have it fit (very stretchy). It does show off more of the chest than I would want, so I'll definitely use it with a pin/brooch, to close up the cleavage more. I ordered the Black Mini Tulip, but was sent the Navy/Burgundy Gingko, by mistake. It doesn't really bother me, since it's also a nice design. BTW, the Navy/Burgundy color is actually black and deep red-- still works. I like the kinds of clothing you can ball up and throw in a suitcase, so I'll probably get a lot of use out of this on vacations. Weird little button to help keep it closed at the waist (kind of awkward for me to reach and fiddle with). Overall, I like this wrap dress.

Very well constructed dress (and I have a LOT of dresses from Amazon!)
Just as I said in the title above, this dress is surprisingly well constructed, and I mean that in the best of ways. I have purchased so many dresses from Amazon that at this point I stopped writing reviews (it would just take way too long) but for this dress I made an exception because I just have to share with other ladies considering this to BUY THIS DRESS! Do it! It's worth every penny (honestly they could charge 60+ dollars and it'd still be a good deal). I'm a bit of a stickler for clothing so bear with me here...FABRIC:This is a jersey fabric that is thick and opaque, even in the light colors and even when stretched decently. You don't have to wear anything underneath but if you do, you can rest assured that at least in my experience with multiple colors of this dress you can't see through them, even under harsh light or sun. The jersey fabric is cool enough for a Houston summer imo but not thin enough to be "cold" in my opinion. It strikes a remarkably good balance because polyester and blends of poly are often not very breathable or trade being airy with a cheap cloth-like feel. This is actually very nice jersey material, very similar to the DVF silk/elastane jersey wrap dresses. There's a nice weight to the fabric so it doesn't wrinkle and likely won't wrinkle in the wash. The best part of this being polyester/elastane jersey imo is that I can spill things on it without staining, wash it in a standard machine load without losing the vibrant color, and the fabric will not pill imo like natural fibers do. If this was a cotton or especially a silk jersey, I wouldn't be comfortable wearing this to say a wine tasting or a bar where accidents happen. A light colored silk jersey dress would be 100$ down the drain on the spot while this dress, because synthetic fibers aren't generally absorbent, will be just fine as spills will just run off. This also makes it a great option for work where men are quite clumsy.CONSTRUCTION:A lot of wrap dresses on the site are atrocious rayon/polyester monstrosities if I'm being frank, but this is not that situation by far. This dress has real, solid construction. There is a wrap front where you can use a button to put the dress on initially before looping the the belt (which is a double layer of the thick, heavy jersey) through a hole that is also reinforced and SEWN in (instead of a sloppily cut scissor mark). The belt is actually strong enough when tied to securely keep the dress on, because with some of the "wrap" dresses I've tried, you truly need to trust in a higher power that you will not be on full display in your bra and panties that day. I use a bow knot just like tying shoes and it doesn't come loose AT ALL during the day which I oh so appreciate. The dress isn't lined as much as in areas where you need extra coverage, there's a double layer of jersey there. The edges are finished and sewn and the button is actually sewn on securely. All in all, this is something I'd expect on a mannequin in nordstrom for 100+ dollars. It's hard to compete price wise with people churning out sheets of cheap polyester cut out from a pattern for cents on the dollar, so I'm actually quite glad to see some thought went into the construction of this dress. The cap sleeves by the way, chef kiss. You can slip on a blazer with ease but this will still flatter broad shoulders/large bust sizes.LONGEVITY:If you like to invest in your wardrobe lasting you years, this is definitely an item for you. If you buy 5-7 of these and rotate them, you could have a work wardrobe for 5-10 years easily. There's enough variety in print and color that you look "different" each day while just maintaining a fairly standard lady like silhouette that is unlikely to go out of style in the next decade. DVF wrap dresses first became popular in the 1970s and wrap dresses themselves have become broadly popular with women who prefer a flattering, lady like shape across body types to this day. It's one of few clothing items you could pick up vintage and people wouldn't be able to tell if it was designed last fall. Because there's a large amount of elastane in the dress, it will keep up with you if you gradually gain weight. Likewise, if you lose weight, the fit and flare of the dresses' inherent pattern will allow you to have it brought in on your upper torso easily. You could also go the risky route and leave it in the dryer for longer (not high heat, just longer) for the elastane to shrink. I have a lot of female friends who are holding onto clothing that hasn't fit them in years, and after the one time I had to let it go and get new clothes, I personally began to take purchasing clothing that will fit me at a variety of weights very seriously.... this is one of those things you won't have to wish you could fit into 5 years from now, so definitely invest in it if you so choose.I gave the item a 4/5 because I'm a harsh reviewer lol and the lighting of the photos is misleading, at least on my monitor. Things that looked white were actually light blue, etc. The dress itself is a solid 5/5 and I plan to purchase a few more unless some lucky ladies beat me to my size in my preferred colors. This item is a must for any woman who works corporate or otherwise prefers to look a little dressed up while still remaining very feminine and youthful. The only change I would suggest is an option for flutter sleeves instead of cap sleeves, although those would not be blazer compatible.

Great dress!
This dress is a great, flattering, comfortable choice. I am 5'8" and 165 lbs (pear shape) and the large fit me almost perfectly. I had it taken in a tad under the arms ($10) which didn't break the bank since the dress is so affordable. Now it fits absolutely perfectly. The material is fairly forgiving, altho it looks better with a shaper underneath, which I wore to a wedding. The bright blue is vivid and it washed well. Minimal wrinkles from packing for a trip. Overall it is a solid piece-would buy again.

Flattering and comfortable, BUT doesn't stay buttoned.
This is a beautiful dress and especially is flattering for a curvy type person. I found it fit true to size. I am a size 8 or 10 and I ordered the Large and it fits great. My one complaint is that is does NOT stay buttoned. Not even for a full minute. Therefore, I am going to have to purchase safety pins or figure out a way to sew it shut. It is a major bummer and design flaw. Other than that I'm glad I bought it.

Great print & fit!
This is a great dress! I may have bought it a size too big, I normally wear a medium but for some reason I bought a large. I’m 5’4.75” tall, 160lb, 34DD. Regardless, because it’s a wrap dress, it didn’t seem to matter too much. The dress doesn’t come open or gap like some of my other wraps. Also, the top didn’t come down too far to show too much cleavage. It is perfect for travel, I took to a conference and the material didn’t display any wrinkles after being pulled from luggage. It is a heavier material but I didn’t feel like it was hot, it gave the dress a nice drape. The pattern is very pretty, I would say that the white parts aren’t as white as I expected but it wasn’t a big deal. I received many compliments from random people.
