Doesn't taste like decaf!
Got this for when I fancy another cup of Coffee but don't need the extra caffeine! It tastes just as good as its caffeinated equivalent and doesn't have the what I can only describe as the "acorny" taste I used to associate with decaf. Would definitely recommend it

Good aroma; chemical decaffeination
*This is a review of Café Direct Machu Piccu Decaffeinated Ground Coffee.This is good stuff. I don't make it very strong (15g of coffee to 500ml of water, infuse for 5 minutes) but it gives off a strong aroma once brewed and the taste is rich. I would be happy to drink this if I couldn't get my usual M&S ground decaff, but I will go back to the M&S because that uses non-chemical decaffeination (and it's £3.50 per pack at time of writing). I asked Café Direct about decaffeination and I understand from the reply that Café Direct uses methyl chloride in *this* product but the CO2/water process in its instant and organic coffees. The methyl chloride process is approved, and my usual supermarket's own brand decaff uses it. It's not a big deal ... but I try to avoid it. If you're not fussed, you should enjoy this. One star off for the process, and a solid 4 stars for flavour.

I love this coffee, was very sceptical at first, especially when I smelt it brewing! It smelled very strong but is actually delicious!
