If you've used one of the loud red pancake compressors, this is a GREAT improvement
So I had one of the red pancake compressors that you can get at the big-box stores. Running it in the garage, while it did the job, was terribly loud. And if you forgot to turn it off and the pressure dropped, it'd scare the daylights out of you and anyone in a nearby part of the house.. Using it with several tools, it was just a bit challenged with a wrench because of it's smaller tank. The Limodot's tank is usefully larger, and much, much quieter. It also has two quick connect ports. Setup is attach two wheels, two muffler air cleaners and the two quick-connect female couplings. There are a number of little connectors that come along, including the male quick-connect, a tire inflation chuck, (and the most annoying teflon tape I've ever used; it's just too thin to be easily manageable; use the stuff from your last plumbing job, instead).I wrote the company, 'cause I idiotically didn't realize that the second quick-connect went on the compressor, after I'd already used it for something else. Doh! They bent over backwards, and quickly. It's a great unit at a great price. 5 stars.

Great little compressor!
I reviewed many compressors for several months. I needed a small, quiet, and light weight air compressor to move between my garage and my workshop. I will use this little gem primarily for filling tires, shooting brad nails, cleaning work areas, and blowing debris out of air filters. Nothing big.I received the unit just 2 days after I ordered it. Package was shipped USPS. The box was fully intact and without any signs of mishandling. Inside, the styrofoam held the unit firmly in place. I took off the plastic wrapper and the compressor looked very, very nice. The compressor didn’t have any flaws in the paint or observable material defects of any kind. The craftsmanship and engineering are excellent. Compressor lines are copper tubing and another is a braided stainless steel protective sleeve over rubber (I assume). It’s a very simple design and well put together.I know that the Limodot compressor is Chinese made, but almost every air compressor is made in China. I was originally going to get the Makita 1 gallon or the Metabo 1 gallon (both made in China). The motor on the Limodot is almost twice the hp, and the tank fillingtime was quicker than the Makita and Metabo. Slightly higher cfm at 90 psi with the Limodot, too. After running the compressor for about 20 minutes, the motor was very warm but not hot. What pursuaded me to go with the Limodot compressor was it seemed to be a bargain price and it is factory guaranteed for 3 years. I don’t normally buy extended warranties, but I was planning on buying an 2 year extended warranty for the Makita or Metabo compressors. So that saved me another $30 on the total overall costs. Additionally, Limodot technical support seems to be quite responsive to their customers, at least according to the reviews I’ve read. The manual is sparse but adequate, in my opinion. The shipping box said the tank is 1.3 gallons. I don’t know if that’s the actual tank capacity or not. But if it is true, 0.3 gallons is larger than their competitor's. Not a big difference, but would you rather have a 1 gallon vs a 1.3 gallon tank? The pressure gauges are adequate sized and easy to read. They are located away from one another and it would be more convenient for them to be both viewed from only one viewing angle instead of two.Using the compressor has been a very nice experience for me. Especially the quiet nature of the unit. The Limodot wasn’t quite as quiet as I had hoped. Especially as the pressure builds inside the tank. I would say the noise level is louder than a refrigerator compressor but less than a home vacuum cleaner. I had my head about 6” away from the compressor while running and could still hear a conversation. The Makita, Metabo, and CAT compressors have a 56 dB rating, while the Limodot’s is 60 dB. However, the Limodot does have an appreciably larger motor, probably why it is louder. The tank fills quickly and seems to cycle a bit more frequently than my Bostich. But that isn’t a problem for my needs.I’m 70 y.o. and moving around heavy compressors is not my idea of having fun. While the Limodot weighs 31 lbs, it’s certainly much easier to tote around than my old, ear blasting Bostich pancake, which supposedly weighs around 30 lbs. The Limodot is actually very easy for me to move around from place to place. I did not like moving the Bostich around. At all.I’m quite happy with my purchase of the Limodot air compressor. The value, the 3 year warranty, and the Limodot performance have convinced me this compressor best meets my personal needs. If you need a small compressor, you need not look any further. This is the real deal in a 1 gallon air compressor.

Good little compressor
Smaller than expected and didn’t have enough connections for the hose. Otherwise it works fine.

Perfect small compressor
I was actually shocked by this little thing. It’s super quiet. It doesn’t take long for the tank to fill. It’s light enough to move around. The pressure is good. I haven’t had any leakage problems. This exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth the money.

Happy with my neat unit
It is a great, quite little unit. It has It's limits, and I knew that when I brought it. Great to pump up tires, or supply pneumatic nail guns. Not made to supply impact guns. Can be use to airbrush but not stay paint a car or such.

Hear yourself think?
I already own 3 air compressors before buying this Limodot LG1100 air compressor, but I needed one to serve a specific purpose, which is airbrushing. My 80 gallon, and 36 gallon air compressors are just too big, not to mention that they are loud. Twenty years ago I bought an airbrush compressor, and it has served me well, but it seemed like time for an upgrade. After shopping around I decided to buy this Limodot LG1100 air compressor. The Limodot LG1100 is significantly bigger than my old airbrush compressor, but it's still compact enough to easily fit on my workbench, which is really just my kitchen table. After going through the test procedure, which is conveniently in the included owners manual, I started using it to do some airbrushing. Right away I noticed how quiet the Limodot is. My old airbrush compressor is so much louder than this Limodot, which surprised me because of the power and size difference. I've included a picture of both compressors so you can see the difference. The Limodot is quiet enough that I could actually still hear my TV, not that I would be watching TV while airbrushing. I'm also pleased with the weight of the Limodot. It's easy to lift, and move around when I need to. It's super easy to setup, and use. I really like the design, and the location of the handle. When I pick it up it stays relatively level, which makes it easier to set back down. When I turn on the compressor, it fills the tank, and reaches the 120 psi cut-out pressure in less than a minute, at which point the compressor automatically turns off. I'm able to easily adjust the pressure, to my airbrush, with the regulator, which is important because I use a gravity feed, and a syphon feed airbrush. My old airbrush compressor struggled to supply enough pressure to my syphon feed airbrush. After almost a week of using the Limodot LG1100, I'm pleased to say that everything works well. Now I can work, and hear myself think. All together, I'm very pleased with the Limodot LG1100. It passed all of my tests, and it brought a huge amount of value for my money.
