Excellent as a side dish or meal
I've been buying jarred and pouch indian sauces to mix with leftover roast chicken to serve over basmati rice. The red lentil on the side really makes the meal complete like being in a restaurant. I've also eaten it solo as the protein and fiber are quite satisfying and the mild flavor is also complex.
