I wanted to wait a week after assembly and use to fully grasp the quality of the build. First off the assembly, with the video is easy and concise. Something I did notice though is that the screws are difficult to tighten all the way and are easy to strip, but if you are careful and patient it's not so bad. Now the quality of the shell itself honestly blew me away, the smooth finish and durable feel make this even better than the OEM shell. After about 1½ weeks of consistant use I can say that this is definitely the best replacement shell out there. I'm definitely going to be buying more for my projects!

This shell is awesome for the price. The plastic is sturdy and feels hard. It's feels more frosted than the original GBA SP shell however. Even with it being worth the money, there's one problem:The screwholes. They are pretty badly drilled. The screws are pretty hard to get in, to the point where I had tried so hard I chiseled the included 3-wing screwdriver just to get half of the screws in. I had to resort to another screwdriver from a bit set and even still the screws are slightly crooked, leaving it slightly creaky.PROS:-Plastic is high quality-The price (25.99$) is perfect for what you get-It's easy to assemble via the online video-Almost twice as many screws needed included just in case you lose someCONS:-Screwholes are badly drilled, you will likely need new screwdriver just to get the screws in-Doesnt include a sticker that goes onto the battery cover

I like the feel, I like the look. Switching the shells was a bit nerve racking due to it being my first go at it.My only negative thought would be it really showed finger prints and smudges from body oils. However this was only that noticeable when I was working on it under my 1200 lume headlamp.

For me, an obvious concern was messing this up, and bricking my beloved nugget. After completing this "project", I can say it'd be difficult to mess up. Like just don't do it in the bath levels of ease. Some people had a complaint that things were not packaged separately, but I did not find this an issue. The only things that can be confused are the screws, but if you watch the install video and follow along, this wasn't an issue for me. This set includes two screw drivers, one 4-point, and one 3-point, as indicated by the colored handles. Some screws are silver, some are brassy. As long as you pay attention to what colored screwdriver and screws are being used in the video, they make it very clear what you should be doing. There are only one size brass and silvers screws per screw driver, so you'll always be using the right screw. Some people also said they were missing parts... mine came with extras. Also all of the screws are interchangeable with the OEM ones you'll be removing from your old one. So just use those if you keep losing your new ones.The construction is excellent. They are well molded with no excess plastic to shave off or trim. I've always been a fan of soft touch plastic for devices like this. It's just more enjoyable to hold, and even nice to brush your finger across. So you can have fun petting your little nugget, rewarding it for 20 years of loyalty and service.Overall I think this is great. My old case was showing the 2 decades of wear on it, this new one is crisp and clean. This kit comes with everything you need to swap the electronics from the old case to this new one, with the exception of the shoulder joints, which the video shows you how to easily transfer over. It even comes with new rubber spring pads for the buttons. On the note of buttons, Nintendo did you a solid here, and made it impossible to put the wrong button in the wrong place, so no worries there.It should be noted that this does not come with a spot for the Nintendo badge on the top lid, and it comes with an eXtremeRate branded label for the bottom. This wasn't an issue for me, personally. Removing the badge gives it a cleaner look, and if I was concerned about keeping the collection value of it intact, I wouldn't have swapped out the OEM case in the first place. You can get replacement OEM stickers for the bottom online, if you really wanted that. This nugget is mine, and this case has added personal value, fun, and comfort to it.

I have no regrets. It came with everything I needed to replace the case even hinge covers, screws, and screw pads. Didn't come with replacement buttons though. I don't remember there being instructions but found a great video on YouTube.

Originally delayed in shipping I ordered a second one to get it faster than waiting on the lost item. Both of them arrived same day. Decided to keep both because of how awesome they look. Bought with upgraded screen to really get GBA to look good and play well. Comes with new everything but hinges and screen.

The shell fit nicely and the kit included everything you need to swap it. The design is crisp and clean and there are no sharp edges in the plastic. However, I personally didn't love the 'soft plastic' texture. It feels almost velvety to run your fingers over. It also picked up dirt and stains so quickly just from regular use.

There is no instructions included, and some of the screws did not seem to fit properly. Using a combination of old screw sets and the new ones I was able to set it up ok. Looks really great, with a matte finish. Overall I am pretty happy with this kit.

Estructuralmente se sigue en perfecta condición, únicamente tiene ese desperfecto estético.

This shell feels quite nice in hand. It feels sturdy enough to last for a while and looks very nice too.An issue that it had on arrival, but I've fixed was a rubbing plastic sound when the hinge moved. This was caused by a small bit of plastic that I had to file down. It wasn't a difficult job, but it warants a mention incase anyone else deals with it. After that I had no troubles to date.The screws included aren't the best. After some fiddling with them I decided to throw them aside and simply reuse the screws from my old shell. The screwdrivers included aren't much better.But overall I think it's a worthwhile pickup if you're trying to find a good reshell for your SP.

Coque extrem race identique à la coque Nintendo. La coque s'assemble facilement et elle est très belle ! J ai choisi en plus de la coque un kit de touches extrem race bleue car la console aurait trop blanche et le rendu final zst top (coque et touches fournies !!!) !Le montage est simple et on peut trouver des tutos en vidéo pour s'aider sur youtube.

The shell is amazing, it looks so clean and new. I got the blue/purple one and it looks amazing!The shell fit with my new IPS panel perfectly and it feels like I have a brand new gameboy.The kit comes with everything you need to replace the shell and had plenty of spares like screws. I could be wrong but it seemed like they included enough screws to make your whole gameboy either phillips headscrews or tri-wing screws but I just replaced the screws same order and type as my original case.Two things to watch out for, when replacing your shell make sure you watch their video on youtube about how to replace the volume slider as I almost broke mine, the other thing is the shell is not very scratch resistant.When you are assembling the kit make sure you rest it on something soft as I briefly put mine on the desk and it got some minor scratches, you have to look to find them but still.Overall I am super happy with this kit and would highly recommend.
