An Incredibly Romantic Novel
A young woman travels to Budapest to study and meets a man who turns out to be the best and worst thing that ever happened to her. This book works on so many levels, it's hard to know where to begin. Faith Morrissey is a fascinating character. The youngest kid in her family, she's never quite developed her own identity. She travels to Europe to gain independence and a little perspective. She doesn't expect to run into someone like Weston Abbot. Of course, that's not the name he gives her. Wes is a jaded CIA operative in charge of getting the goods on a criminal organization with ties to Faith's employer. In spite of his best efforts, Wes soon comes to see Faith as more than a means to an end. Watching him grow and soften as their relationship develops is one of the best parts of the story.Too bad their feelings for one another can't protect them from the dangerous reality of Wes's mission. When things come to an abrupt and violent head, Faith is lucky to survive. Though she comes through physically, her emotions are another story. Angry, disillusioned, heart-broken, she buries her former naive self and takes on a new name and a confident, powerful new persona. The new Faith--or Fae--would never be taken in by a game playing user. This is put to the test when past enemies resurface. Faith/Fae has to run for her life and...there's Wes right in the middle of it all!The chemistry between Wes and Faith is epic. There's an erotic undercurrent, sure, but the sweetness of their love affair is what stands out for me. There are also great side characters. Conor is an FBI agent and Faith's reluctant savior. Margot is Faith's roommate in Budapest. I didn't get enough of them. I really really really hope Julie Johnson has a surprise up her sleeve and things aren't quite what they seem on the Margot front. One small blemish in an otherwise fabulous book--the "before" section goes on a bit compared to the "now" section. This imbalance exerts a subtle breaking force between the 30 and 50% point of the story. I found myself rushing ahead. Not a completely bad thing, since it means I cared about what happened. But it undermined the beautiful setting Johnson gives us. The scenes in Budapest are so realistic and well drawn, they're worth lingering over.ERASING FAITH is an incredibly romantic novel full of suspense and intrigue. Highly recommended.

Buy this book right now!
So im writing this review at nearly two in the morning because I have just finished Erasing Faith and need to get my feelings for this book out asap! It is AMAZING! Julie Johnson is one of my favorite authors, and she does not disappoint! If you have had the misfortune of never reading any of her books I suggest you change that right this instant. So I had very high expectations of this book because I loved Like Gravity and Say The Word is one of my all time favorite books( it even came out on my birthday, must have been fate! ) So I was extremely happy and not at all surprised that Erasing Faith exceeded all my hopes and expectations. This book is fulled with all the things a good book should have; romance, action, violence, awesome friends, a ridiculously swoon worthy guy and a kickass girl! I really liked Fae in Say The Word but I love Faith. I love her sassy, snarky but also sweet and kind personality. And Wes oh my god is he swoon worthy! He comes a very close second to my love of Bash (: I am very glad we got chapters from his point of view, which Julie pulled off amazingly. I either love or hate when books are in dual perspective and this was definitely love! I don't want to go into the plot of the book because I will most likely give away too much in my excitement of the book haha. The only thing I am slightly upset about is I didn't get to see any Simon or Bash in this book :/ but all in all this book is amazing and Julie did not fail to make me fall in love with her books (and her a little bit) even more! So I recommend buying all of her book as soon as humanly possible because they are amazing and will change your life! And I am going to re read them all again while I wait for her next book! If I could give you more stars I would (:

Talk Nerdy To Me
This would make a great title for a book, but in Faithless by Julie Johnson it is the title of a chapter and the reason super spy Wes falls for his mark in a sting he is developing to capture an international arms dealer. In a set up to "meet" bicycle courier and college student Faith, Wes trips her and her resultant nervous babbling completely disarms and charms the young but jaded CIA agent. Before you know it, the mark becomes something more. More than Wes can handle. More than he wants her to mean. More than is safe for her given the parameters of his mission.Faith's openness and happy, guileless life are anathema to Wes. She fascinates him. And he hates himself for what he did to her before he even knew her. His treachery plays with his emotions, his confidence and his loyalties. Because he can't reconcile who he is day to day and with Faith, there is a bit of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde going on."Wes’ grin fell off his face so abruptly, I worried he’d suffered some kind of mental breakdown. Something dark flashed in his eyes as he stared at my face.""She blew up my life. I hated her for it. But not as much as I loved her."Of course, involving a super spy with a sweet innocent isn't going to end well. But Faith has changed Wes and he learns that he no longer wants to be Faith-less.

PERFECTION IS WHERE IMPERFECTION IS...
As always Julie you got straight to my heart. Every word from your book got me. All was so INTENSE.Faith is a little like me, and she is so naive and all but so smart...and adorable when she talks too much.Wes: you said at the start that he would have been nothing like the other male characters you brought to life. Well, yeah it was unxpected but I LOVED EVRY SINGLE THING ABOUT HIM. He is not perfect, he tries to put on a mask of monster but to me he is just so beautiful in his imperfections. It makes him more vivid and REAL than every other characters I read.I loved their playful chemistry, I love that the fight and that they push eachothers. That is what love is for me, pushing and pulling and I just couldn't stop reading it.The whole story background was so realistic that I could imagine myself walking in Budapest. You got me saying OMG so many times and WHAT THE HELL that I lost count. This story is a thrilling love story, a mistery to solve and I loved doing it.Keep going like this because you are my inspiration for writing!BOTH THUMBS UP!So...EVERYONE SHOULD READ THIS STORY!!!!!!!!

Bittersweet romance
Kein Spoiler zum Inhalt. Ich hatte zuerst Julie Johnsons Roman *Not you-it's me* gelesen, der mich total begeistert hat (siehe Rezension).

Loving Julie Johnson right now think she well rivals Sylvia Day, Deborah Bladon, Jodi Ellen Malpas!!
Amazing story - I love the way Julie Johnson writes!! She creates a great story line & builds her characters around it so it's not just all about having sex every five minutes, which none of us has time for in the real world!! She develops the female character & makes them a little more feisty & real because let's face it we don't all just drop our knickers at the sight of a swoon worthy guy do we?? Well I don't anyway!!! Fab can't wait for her next book!!

Just wow!
Oh, I just LOVED this book! It was simply amazing. I loved the story and the setting. Everything was described very realistically and while I have never visited Budapest, there was so much detail and flavor packed in that I felt like I was following Faith around as she went on her adventure to find herself. With the progressing of the story I loved the chance to read from two POV's, and I grew to love both the main characters. It was phenomenal. Congrats Julie Johnson!! Thumbs up!! Five stars all around! It is a must read!
