Neat. They won't stop anyone, but they will (depending on screws used and frame marerial) slow them down. Good pet and kiddie keeper.

I’m very happy with this door lock. It feels strong and secure, and gives me extra peace of mind at home. Installation was quick and easy, and it works perfectly. The material looks durable, and the lock is very sturdy.

I use these on my exterior doors. It looks better than a chain and is probably harder to defeat. I don't think a set of bolt cutters would find it easy to snap. The metal is quite heavy and well polished. It definitely adds a layer of security over mere dead bolts since most locks can be picked and many exterior doors have glass panels that can easily be broken to unlock the door by reaching in. Fumbling around with trying to move this latch from the outside even through a broken side window would be challenging.

Metal is thick and they work like they should, but the type of metal used leads me to believe it’s not very robust. Otherwise good product.

Just as described and very sturdy. No complaints at all but for better security I felt the screws were to short. Added longer screws and item was perfect and allows me to open door and see who is there or let a little fresh air in.
