I homeschool my kids and need to plan lessons for a class I teach them. This holds the textbook perfectly so I can study without a glare from the lights in the room. The pieces in front hold the pages securely but not to tight as to rip pages or hurt the book in any way. It is solid but lightweight and easy to move and then folds up pretty flat so it can be stored easily.

I am very happy with this book/music stand. Since I’m using it for music books, I find the little movable arms get in the way while turning pages, so I don’t use them.

This is a really nice book stand. It's perfect for taking notes or for reading a large, heavier text, especially if hardbound, without having to hold it or have it lie flat. Using a stand like this is so much better than trying to rest your book against a stack of other books or a pillow or what have you.This stand is adjustable and has arms to keep pages in place. It can be used for studying, for cookbooks, even for display of art books. It's nicely finished and so big it's almost too big, which is excellent. I'm glad I got this. When it's not being put to more practical use, I'll use it as a book display on my bookshelves.

This is a well built book stand and comes ready to use out of the box. I love that it is made of bamboo, the size is great and I like that I can set multiple viewing angles. Unfortunately, I have some books that I use all the time that makes this book stand not work for me. I don't think my books are that thick, they certainly aren't as thick as law books or some school books. The book clips are screwed to the front of the hinged shelf that the book sits on and because the shelf is very narrow and the design of the clips is shallow, I can't put my books on this stand properly and some, not at all. To try and hold some of my books open with the clips requires some book gymnastics to get them behind the clips and the book gets damaged in the process. I think that for most people, this book stand is going to be perfect and at 20 USD you really can't go wrong getting this stand and it's a great value for the cost. I'm actually looking around for different clips to see if I can still make use of this because I like it so much.

This large-sized book stand performs admirably as intended. The build quality is satisfactory, and its bamboo construction gives the impression that it will endure for a long time. The thick board and sturdy supporting parts enhance its durability. The standout feature for me is its generous size, accommodating books, laptops, portable monitors, and more with ease. All in all, I am happy with this book stand as it fulfills its purpose effectively. Considering other similar products on the market, I find its price reasonable as well. It makes for a great gift option too.
