Heavy and seems to be high quality.
Very heavy duty door set that functions perfectly. I am remodeling a hundred year old house that has cassette style door sets and I replaced it with this. I am dinging it one star because there was no way it would work with the cassette style door even though it said in the description it would. The bar that passes through the door is too thick to go through the current cassette hole. I made it work by filling in the cassette hole with a chunk of wood but it's definitely not the greatest fix. Based on the quality of the door set though, it seems very high quality.

Finish Issues-Terrible Customer Service
Spent 1000's on door knobs. Applied blue painters tape to one knob plate and it removed the finish.Customer service refused to warranty, repair or offer any help; the "manager" was extremely rude and flippant.

solid construction, nice heavy feel, flawless finish
my girlfriend started buying these knobs a couple years ago when we finished our basement. I thought she was crazy to spend over $100 on each knob. but as I have replaced all the doors in the upper floor of our house I continued buying these so that we would have continuity through the whole house. I love the look and feel of them. makes every room look classy!
