Deserves zero stars
This is more a glossary of definitions and broad statements than anything reassembling a useful book. The cover claims, " how to repair and install equipment for residential and commercial buildings". That's a bad joke. The "instructions" are things like - install the duct work, then install the air handler. Like it could not be any less detailed or have less information. The book just runs down a list of topics then adds a couple sentences.... filter maintenence - replacing the filter at regular intervals will benefit your system by allowing improved airflow. Oh wow, guess I'm a pro now! Straight into the bin with this nonsense.

Worthless Book
I'm in the same camp as the other 1 star reviewers. I've always wondered if I could learn enough to better manage/repair my residential HVAC equipment. I bought this on Prime Day based on the fact that it had so many 4 and 5 star reviews. It only has about 80 pages and I read through the whole book in about 10 minutes. Nothing of any practical value if you want to work on or understand your residential HVAC setup. I'll be returning it on my next trip to Whole Foods.

Broke it down gave simple needed information very good

Not useful for installing a system yourself
There is nothing wrong with this book but it doesn’t provide enough details to help a homeowner install their own system properly. This is good information for someone who knows nothing about HVAC systems.
