I was under the impression that all edge banding is the same, since the last brand I purchased on Amazon was identical to the one I got at the big box store. Unfortunately, that's not the case because this brand is pretty aweful. The first issue I noticed is that it's really thin, almost paper thin. See the pic (left one) comparing this brand with a previous one. The 2nd issue, because it's so thin it's practically see through. See the pic where you can see my fingers behind it. When it's attached to plywood, you see the plywood bands behind it. Not necessarily an issue if you're going to paint or stain in a dark color. But I wouldn't advise it if you're going for a natural wood look. And the 3rd and final issue, the glue is horrible. I haven't been able to determine if it's the actual glue or because it's so thin, it doesn't stay attached without applied pressure. I had to hold down the edge banding with tape because many of the pieces I ironed was peeling off. It got the job done in the end, but I wouldn't purchase this again.
