IMAK Active Arthritis Compression Gloves (Grey, Medium)

Wear these not so much for arthritis as for keyboarding; they are brilliant. Keep hands and wrists warm and leave fingertips free for typing. Never taken them off in winter. Recommend to all keyboard users. Very comfortable, easy to wash, just the right amount of support.

They do help a bit

While I'm delighted that others seem to have found help from wearing these gloves, my own experience is that do nothing for my rheumatoid arthritis. And they are not returnable.

I bought these for my mum because she has arthritis in her hands. I wanted something that was going to ease the pain or discomfort. I did my research on Amazon and these gloves seemed to get decent reviews so I thought I would purchase them.I know there are a lot of cheaper versions of these on Amazon but they don't seem to get the same reviews as this product.My mum loves them. She says it really helps her hands. She very rarely takes them off now unless they need washed.The good thing about these gloves also is that you don't lose any compression when you wash them.

These gloves are light, cotton, washable and with some grip texture on the palm. They are supposed to offer compression and warmth to help people with problems in their hands and wrists. My left hand suffers from arthritis and these gloves will help with that. However, the pain I suffer is from my right hand and thumb, of which I cut the tendon and now suffer nerve damage. The gloves unfortunately will not help with that thumb because there is a seam running up the inside, also the length on the thumb is about four millimetres short of covering the joint. So these will not be able to assist with the things I had hoped such as driving, gripping broom and vacuum cleaners' handles and gardening tools.

I bought these gloves a about a year ago after the arthritis in my hands was quite bad, I wore them for a while and found them comforting but also a bit constrictive, I stopped wearing them after a couple of weeks. My arthritis has mow got much worse and I have given the gloves another go, I personally don't know what I would do without them, because my arthritis has worsened the gloves are giveing me so much relief from the pain and stiffness. The reason for the mixed reviews, I belief is the fact that people ate at different stages of pain and disease, I am so glad I did not throw mine away and am now ordering more.

Purchased these for my daughter who has rumitoid arthritis and is in her twenties and has difficulty at work when typing. At the moment she aware of anyone seeing her wearing the gloves, so puts them on when she comes home. She finds comfort in wearing them, it's hard to say at this stage it it's a kind of plesebo effect or they are actually helping her arthritis.They are well made ,light and can be carried in your pocket to use as needed.I would certainly recommend these competed to other poor quality ones I've seen out there.
