Yummy, nutritious and filling
These are much denser and filling than merchant gourmet's chestnuts. Epicure chestnuts also have more of a bread-like texture and actually replaced bread very well at breakfast! They're delicious and not dry. Very pleased!I overpaid a little bit here on Amazon. The RRP for this is £2.89 per box!

Decent quality, good for making soup
Prompt delivery, delivered at the time specified. I suppose you can eat the chestnuts without cooking or any additional preparations but not sure if you will enjoy it the most to eat it straight as a snack. I made a soup with a packet of the chestnut and the quality was great! Aromatic in flavour, good texture in your mouth when you chew it - not like a paste after boiling. Personally I prefer some less roasted chestnuts so that's why I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5; otherwise it would be fantastic.

worst ever
we as a family buy chestnuts all year round. so we try different brands every now and then. the brand is the worst I have ever tasted even my 3-year-old said it is yucky. a complete waste of money and you can't even return it. i am very unhappy

The worst ones I have ever had, I literally had to spit them out. I don’t understand how they are packaged so beautifully, yet the flavour is so grimm?!!!Never again 🤮
